Since the day , I got engaged to Armaan. I feel like I'm in the La La land .

According to our family tradition, we cannot see each other neither in person nor on video call.

Jokes apart , He haven't contacted me from 2 days . The last when He called me , he said He is going out of town to a small village, where an upcoming project is going to take place. So if he couldn't call me , I should not get worried. Since village is a very low network area.

I shrugged off my feelings and got ready for college.

I have to do some assignment prior and submit them with the remaining.

I wore a simple plain kurti with a denim and then I went to college, today there was no rush as today is Saturday. I was about to go when someone called me

" Wait- Aayati" It was Rishi.

" Hi Rishi." He didn't reply but just passed a smile. Weird~

" How's everything going?" He asked out of nowhere.

" Good ig, what about you?"

To this he didn't replied but smiled a fake one

" I heard you got engaged. Is it true?"

I was about to ask further when I got a call from Mitali.

I excused myself and went towards library. I started completing my assignments.

But something was bothering me .

I shooked my head and focused on my work . Throughout Mitali kept me entertained.

With some giggles and glares from the librarian. We completed some of the work .

We were sitting in a cafe nearby after completing our work . Ritika joined us , Well Ritika is a M.Phil student and she studies in our college itself , So it was easy for her to join us.

Mitali and Ritika seemed to be so excited for my marriage. That they were constantly gossiping about it.
Soon their excitement became concern by looking at me .
I was being too quite.

" Aati is everything okay?" Ritika asked out of concern.

" Yes everything is fine." I have a dry reply.
