At Rajvansh's Mansion

Madhuri was busy in preparation of her son's birthday dinner , like a mother she was working all by herself with little help from servants.

She asked one of the servants to buy that book from the book store . She was waiting impatiently as it was supposed to be his son's birthday present.

She was engaged in her work when the servant came and said

" I'm sorry ma'am, the book you asked for , someone already bought that book . I tried searching in other book stores but sadly, it's out of stock there."

Madhuri couldn't react to it but was disheartened, she continued doing her chores with a heavy heart.

Aayati's pov

I was heading out of college campus , when Rishi called me from behind. I turned around and saw him smiling like an idiot.

" Hi Aayati... How are you?"

" I'm fine Rishi , is something wrong?"

" Uhh- I wanted to apologise for yesterday, Avni should've behaved herself."

" Oh about that no worries , no need to apologise."

" Acha listen-"

He was about to say further when I just excused myself and went away.
I have to give this book to Madhuri aunty.

I was about to leave when Mumma called , she asked me to accompany her for shopping , for dinner tonight.

I wanted to refuse but I don't know how to , if I'll tell her about the book she'll definitely scold me for helping a stranger to this level.

I sighed and agreed .

Aayati was sad as she couldn't give this book to that encyclopaedia aunty .
With a very heavy heart she was getting ready for dinner.

She even wrapped the book neatly. But it seems like the poor boy has to celebrate his birthday without a present.
