17th January, 2002, Thursday

"Are you skipping school today?"

"Hmm."

"Why are you studying so hard? It's just the beginning of the year.." Seokjin asked wrapping an arm around Eunseo's shoulders, sitting on the swing beside her. The soft sunlight and heat of the morning heaven to their skins in the cold weather.

"Because.. I don't want to study for some days in February.."

He raised an eyebrow turning his face at her. "Why?"

"Just.. I want to spend my birthday stress-free.. So I'm finishing up the plans from now." she said shrugging, not surprised by the closeness, being used to it.

"So your birthday's in February! Why don't you tell me the date too?" he cried.

She clicked her tongue, realizing she slipped it out accidentally. "uh.. I'll tell you on the day."

"Heh.. You said you'd tell me later but you haven't yet.. Is there a problem with it?"

She shook her head, her eyes wanting, but had no courage to look up into his.
He looked away, watching some kids playing down at the nearby park.

After a while, She finally looked up, his side profile defining the perfect structure of his face against the silver sunlight.
His perfectly milky skin made her want to touch it and feel the smoothness at least for once.
The plump pink lips attracting her for some reason she herself did not know what.
The moles on his face making her want to leave kisses on those.
The sharp eyes of him filled with softness and passion.. She could spend the whole of her life just staring into those..

Her mind went back to the day he met her for the first time. Her first thought about him, which was 'A guy with angelic face.' A small smile present on her face, she herself had no idea why she was feeling so attracted to him.

But the insecurity still worked inside her. When she was with Daehyun, she felt feel this type of attraction toward him as well. She loved him without even knowing the meaning of love, she loved him because she thought he was the only one in the world who cared about her which turned out to be brutally false at the end.

But right then as she sat with Seokjin, she knew the meaning of love. But she was not certain if she really had feelings for him or it was just a simple attraction.

After being betrayed for all of her life, it was hard for her to even trust someone, yet Seokjin somehow had the potential to pull her toward himself like a magnet attracting metal.

Seokjin looked back, gaze getting stuck into hers. Every time he found her this close, the memories of that one night flooded back to his mind to mix up with the unnamed feelings.

It was as if they suddenly lost their consciousness, getting lost into each other's eyes like they were peacefully drowning into the depth of the ocean.

'What is this feeling?' both had the same question.

Seokjin's eyes darted down to her parted lips, the taste still fresh in his memory. He was not even in the sense to fight back to the crave and urge to feel it again.
