Chapter 9

Next day arrived. I woke up and quickly freshen up. Grandma prepared the breakfast, I quickly ate and waited for the group to pick me up.

The bell rang. I opened the door and went with them.

"I am so excited to know my past!" Jisoo chimed.

"I am too." Nayeon joined her excitement.

After almost 15 minutes we reached the destination.

It was a hypnotist.

"I will guide to see your past. Only two person at a time. Please choose who wants to go first." He instructed.

We decided and went for- Nayeon and Jisoo, Seungcheol and Jeonghan, Me and Joshua.

First session started. The hypnotist started saying things for Nayeon and Jisoo to get hypnotised. He carefully guided them. Soon they reached they their past.

"So, what do you guys see?" The hypnotist asked.

"We..both are together with others...in school." Nayeon answered.

"Others who?" He questioned again.

"Seungcheol, Jeonghan, Y/n and Joshua." Jisoo replied.

"Okay! Is something going on? Are you talking with each other? Are you in middle of class?" He asked.

"Teacher is telling us about a trip." Jisoo answered.

"Ok... Let's get forward it a bit. Let's go on the day when you all are going to the trip." He instructed.

Few minutes passed. We four were observing them quietly. A frown appeared on their faces.

"What happened? Is something wrong?" He asked.

"The ship...." Nayeon started crying.

We all got tensed at here crying state.

"What about the ship?"

"It's.. it's drowning...help...we...noo..." Nayeon cried.

They both started crying. The hypnotist, guided them to come back again.

"Are you okay?" I asked them as soon as they woke up.

"Please tell us in detail, what happened?" The hypnotist asked noting down in his diary.

"We were on ship, which was taking us to the trip. We all were enjoying until it started dronwing..we all died.." Nayeon whispered.

"I don't want to see...my past ." Jeonghan shook his head.

"If.. jeonghan isn't gonna....see then i will do the same. We both are backing off then." Seungcheol said. They both clearly shocked hearing about their past.

"I want to see." I said.

They all looked at me with "Are you sure?" look. I wanted to see, if something else had occurred.

"I will join in too." Joshua suggested.

"Ok, so you both lay down here."

I started crying as I saw the scene.

Past life

The boat was taking on water rapidly. In the midst of the storm, Joshua found a piece of rope. With trembling hands, he tied one end to his wrist and the other to Y/N's. "No matter what happens, we stay together," he whispered, his voice barely audible over the roaring wind.

The boat capsized, throwing everyone into the cold, unforgiving sea. Joshua and Y/N struggled to stay afloat, their hands bound together by the rope. The waves were relentless, and as exhaustion set in, they knew they might not make it.

"Is this our end?" I asked

We will meet again in our next life, my love. Let's take a long nap for now. He answered.

Joshua looked into Y/N's eyes, his face etched with a mix of fear and love. "I love you," he said, his voice cracking. "I always have."

Y/N's eyes filled with tears. "I love you too, Joshua. Forever."

They held onto each other until their strength gave out. When rescue teams found them the next morning, they were still bound together by the rope, lifeless but united in death.

Present time

The hypnotist soon wake us. I looked at Joshua and hugged him tightly.

He hugged me back. It was really something unexpectedly expected.

The birthmarks on are hand is a mark from the past. The mark was created and we tied our hands to be together. God gave us a chance to live again. We both met each other for a reason.

After 2 years.

Everything went smoothly. We all graduated from the university. Me and Joshua started dating. It was really a unique experience for me.

Our group never separated. That day when we saw the past, the bond we created before got even stronger than before.

Everyone was happy with their life. Jisoo was dating Taehyung, Nayeon was still single enjoying spending her money on shopping. Seungcheol and Jeonghan were single but definitely something was going on in between them. (Sus)

It has been months since we last met in person. So we all decided to meet again today.

Third person's Pov

A cozy hotel restaurant, bustling with guests enjoying their evening meals.

Joshua and Y/N are eagerly getting ready for dinner at a chic hotel restaurant. It's a special night because they're meeting their closest friends. Joshua, holding Y/N's hand, leads them into the restaurant where Seungcheol and Jeonghan are already seated.

Joshua and Y/N walk in, greeted warmly by Seungcheol and Jeonghan.

They notice Seungcheol and Jeonghan sharing secretive glances and giggles, immediately raising their suspicions.

Y/N whispers to Joshua, "Are they acting weird, or is it just me?"

Nayeon and Jisoo arrive fashionably late, immediately picking up on the strange vibes.

Nayeon, sensing the opportunity for some fun, loudly comments, "Wow, Seungcheol and Jeonghan, you two look extra close tonight!"

Jeonghan stutters, "W-what do you mean?" while Seungcheol turns a bit red.

Jisoo joins in, "Yeah, spill the beans, you two!"

Amidst laughter and teasing, Seungcheol and Jeonghan finally give in.

Seungcheol, with a shy smile, admits, "Okay, okay, we've been seeing each other for a while now."

The table erupts in cheers and playful teasing, making Seungcheol and Jeonghan blush even more.

Joshua, inspired by the moment, takes Y/N's hand and says, "Well, since we're all sharing tonight... Y/N, how about we make this night unforgettable?"

Joshua pulls out a small box, revealing a beautiful bracelet. "I know it's not a ring, but it's a promise that I'll always cherish our moments together."

Y/N, teary-eyed and smiling, hugs Joshua tightly.

The dinner turns into a night of revelations, laughter, and heartfelt moments. Seungcheol and Jeonghan's secret relationship brings everyone closer, while Joshua's sweet gesture towards Y/N adds a romantic touch. The friends leave the hotel with full hearts, looking forward to their next adventure together.
