Chapter 2

*ALEX'S POV*

While walking away from Audrey, I got nervous to whisper in her ear but I did it anyway, I knew how to get in her nerves. She looked pretty in her uniform. As always.

I shook my head. What am I thinking? I said to myself as I furrowed my eyebrows while walking to Trevors classroom to wait for him. I crossed my arms and leaned against the wall next to the door. Late nanaman ata sila dinismiss ng teacher nila hay nako I'm hungry, for sure the canteen's already crowded.

Infernes kay Audrey she smelled nice today, she smelled like strawberries and a hint of flowers. I didn't realize I was smiling to myself, not until Trevor noticed it too.

"Huy! Grabe ngiti mo ah, sino ba iniisip mo?"He asked while smirking

"Ha? Wala ano ba. Gutom na kasi ako tagal naman kasi mag dismiss ni Mrs. Reyes eh."

I said, defending myself.

Inakbayan ako ni Trevor and we did our handshake. Corny noh kasi may handshake pa din kami but this is how we also show our appreciation to our friendship ever since Elementary.

"Alam mo palusot ka pa eh, I heard na natalo mo daw si Audrey kanina sa debate. Was it Audrey you were thinking of just now" Trevor said, chuckling.

Mabubuking ako mali sa oras dahil ngumiti ako.

"Of Course not! I was just thinking about physics class." I said being a little defensive.

"You're being defensive Alex, I didn't even say anything wrong." "He laughed "I meant na iniisip mo ba si Audrey because of academics?" He added.

"Nagpapahalata ka masyado na you like audrey" He laughed while shoving me forward.

Í shook my head and continued walking to the canteen. Baka gutom lang ako kaya I'm thinking of audrey. I said to myself.

The canteen was full of students. Every table was taken. I noticed Audrey in the distance. She looks pretty while smiling, I thought to myself.

"Wala ng available na table Alex let's just join with Claud and Audrey naka upo naman sila sa table na for four persons eh" Trevor said convincing me to sit with them.

"No way! I don't want to sit with her. Baka ma abala pa yung kakainin kong recess baka mapanis dahil sakaniya. Tska baka may mahanap tayong ibang table." I said while still looking around.

"Alex, wait. I like Claud and I want to sit with her, sige na pagbigyan mo na ako." Trevor said while pulling me to their table

"Trevor you know Audrey's my academic rival" I said trying not to get pulled

"What's the big deal? Bakit, gusto mo ba siya?" Trevor's question triggered me. I have no other choice but to agree and pagbigyan siya. "Okay fine." I said and of course Trevor was happy like a rat receiving a cheese.

*AUDREY'S POV*

Hindi ko alam pero baka isuka ko lahat ng kinain ko pagkatapos kong makita na nag lalakad papunta samin si Trevor at si Alex.

They suddenly sat in front of us without even asking for permission or they didn't bother asking if it's okay.

"Why are you here alex?" I asked while trying to take a bite of my lunch

"Malamang para umupo at para makakain din." He said while putting his recess at the table. "Bakit sa table pa namin?" I rolled my eyes at him. "Ang init grabe diba Trevor mainit?" Claud asked Trevor with a sarcastic tone."Sorry but I don't know if you noticed na wala na kaming ibang mauupuan. Just so you know Audrey hindi ko din gusto na umupo dito." Alex said getting angry "Trevor forced me to sit with you kasi sabi niya gus-"
