4: The ritual.

So proud of this chapter cant even lie. But, trust me, it gets better as it goes along. The first few scenes aren't the bets but whne you get oats those this chapter is one of my favourites.

Previously on, 'Sacrificial lamb.'

"Well, it seems my best friend is stuck in the land of love with, lord Kol." -Katerina.

"Katerina. You're underestimating Esme's capabilities. There is much about her that you are let to learn. She is no ordinary siphoner." -Klaus.

"Esme is family. Insulting her again would be unwise of you." -Klaus.

"What are we gonna do about Esme. We can't leave her with Klaus." Ric asked the rest of the group.

"Esmeralda's perfectly safe with Klaus, he won't hurt her. When he is dead we can go and collect whe from your house."

At Elijah's words, Ric stood up angrily, pointing a hand at him.

"Klaus is a cold blooded killer. How is she safe?!"

"He's right, Ric. Otherwise he wouldn't have taken her. Taking her will only make Klaus more angry and he might retaliate. We just have to wait it out." Damon said in a calm manner.

Alaric rolled his eyes angrily.

"Fine."

Esmerelda awoke in the same place she did everyday, on the couch, tops and tails with Katerina.

Then she did the same routine she had formed.

Get up early, make coffee, ask siphon Kat's magic, reinforce any healing spells.

However this time she did it with much more sadness in her eyes.

Bonnie was likely dead. She had forgotten about it until she had a dream about the girl.

It was odd though as she didn't feel a shift in the spirits or nature.

100 witches worth of magic going from one place to another. She felt it the first time just neglected to mention.

For a normal witch it wouldn't mean much. But she'd spent her whole life learning of signs form nature so she could control the voices, her supernatural senses were always on point.

Yet, Bonnie was dead. Otherwise Klaus wouldn't hav been so okay yesterday.

But what if they found a loophole?

I mean, she's got the power of 100 witches it could definitely happen.

But as something she'd learnt along time ago, you shouldn't get tour hopes up. Not when it's something you care about. It mostly ends in dissapointment.

Esme then decided though she didn't wnat anyone else to die. She had power, and she was gonna use it.

She was going to find a way to save the doppelganger.

When Klaus got ready that morning, Esme could barely look at him knowing it was he that caused this.

That made him feel stick to his stomach. His own sister couldn't even look him in the eye. He truly was a monster.

"Gentleman, why so glum?" Asked Klaus as he snuck up on Ric and Damon drinking at the grill.

They didn't even bother looking up.

Damon was defeated after realising Elena will most likely hate him forever.
