Jaehyun: I really don't want to go. 

Mina: Get out, Jaehyun. I don't want your father hunting you down and coming here.

Jaehyun: But Eunbi?

Mina: She's with me you dimwit. 

He groaned and continued to sit on her couch, unmoving. His dad had messaged him to see him an hour ago and now she was worried he would send someone to hunt Jaehyun down, possibly getting to her and Eunbi. 

She was not afraid much. But a part of her still totally believed that it was that very man who took her father's life. And that very reason made her question her... whatever was going on between the her and Jaehyun.

Rolling her eyes, lifted her leg and nudged his knee with her foot. 

Jaehyun: Dude!

Mina: Get out before I call the cops for you trespassing. Surely your father won't enjoy it.

She warned and he groaned again before standing up. He grabbed his phone and spared a glare at Mina before he approached Eunbi who stayed seated on a solo couch. 

Jaehyun: I'll be back soon. 

Eunbi: Don't let your dad kill you.

She said with an innocent smile but the two adults could tell that she was teasing him. 

Jaehyun: Tsk. 

He just scoffed and ruffled her hair before grabbing his jacket and heading to the door. Mina followed him close as he only stopped to wear his jacket and take his car keys. 

Jaehyun: You could have just pulled the gun and I would have still moved.

Mina: I know that.

Jaehyun: You wouldn't call the police. You can't in fact.

Mina: Mhm...

Jaehyun: Then... 

He stopped as he realised that she did it to not scare the girl.

Jaehyun: Damn Mina. You make a great wife. 

Mina didn't hesitate to punch him in the arm as he winced not even trying to dodge it. 

Mina: Idiot. Leave. 

Jaehyun: Yeah yeah, I'm going. 

He then left and Mina sighed before closing the door. She then turned to Eunbi who was busy enjoying her cartoon. Not wanting to disturb the girl, Mina head to the kitchen. She sat on the counter and took to her phone, sometimes checking on Eunbi. 

But mostly she only re read the threats. Despite her beliefs, Jaehyun had woken the spark of doubt in her. She couldn't stop thinking about the man who had killed her father. She would sometimes have these vivid nightmares and knew that the only person she could talk to was Mark who went through the same thing.
