Mina's eyes fluttered open as she adjusted to the sunlight in the room. She felt less burdened and frustrated than ever to only then register the breaths hitting her neck and a hand wrapped around her waist.
She felt her breath hitch as she felt Jaehyun hug her tighter before going back to softly snoring. She could feel him entirely against her back and then had a rush of memories from last night.
Mina felt her cheeks heat up as she tried not to move in her place, afraid to wake him up mostly because what were they supposed to do now? She couldn't fathom anything going back to normal after this.
But she did promise "no hard feelings".
Was this a one night thing... do I even want it to be a one night stand?
Of course she didn't. But as she realized it, she refused to accept it.
A soft hum from Jaehyun almost made her flinch as she could feel his steady breathing change. Then as if, she felt his body freeze.
Jaehyun: Oh my god.
His voice was an octave deeper and Mina felt her eyes screw shut.
What kind of reaction was that? Did he regret it?
Jaehyun: Oh my god...
He whispered again as his hand retreated. Mina had an internal debate before trusting her guts and turning. He flinched then froze when their eyes met. She noticed the tips of ears turn to scarlet as they held eye contact.
Jaehyun: You're um... awake.
Mina: Yeah...
Jaehyun: Respectfully... Best fuck I've ever had.
He said while lying back down, head hitting his pillow, eyes screwing shut, as Mina couldn't help but scoff out in amusement.
Jaehyun: What you didn't enjoy it?
She was quiet for a moment before turning to her back as well.
Mina: Best one. Agreed.
He chuckled as well while the two just lay there, staring at the ceiling.
Mina: I'm leaving today...
She broke the silence and she could tell that Jaehyun was looking at her but she kept her eyes away from him.
Jaehyun: So soon...
Mina: Yeah...
Jaehyun: Well... Eunbi does miss you. But misses me more, of course.
Mina: Tsk. You never stop.
Jaehyun: I've no reason to.
There was another silence before Mina cleared her throat.
Mina: So... one time thing right?
A dreadful silence was followed before Jaehyun moved closer to her. She felt her body tense and her skin tingle as he held onto her again.
