"HANA, your gonna be late for school, hurry and get downstairs", Her mom yelled from the kitchen.
"Han is trying to iron her blazer right now", The younger one told their mom walking into the kitchen for breakfast.

"Sorry mom I accidentally woke up late", She said as she was running down stairs and going into the kitchen,
"Here take some money for some snacks Hana-ko", As her mom was pulling out some money from her purse

"Thanks mom, I'll get going now", Hana said as she was starting to leave the kitchen.

"Be safe ok?"

"I will, bye mom, bye yumi!", She said before leaving the house

As she was getting on her bike and riding to school, she saw that new neighbors moved in last night and somehow her and her sister didn't notice, but she decided that she'll greet them after school.

"RISE AND GRIND HANA", As one of her friends, Rei yelling in her ear right as she walked into class "Rei you have too much energy in the morning, I'm barely half awake", Liz said tryna wake herself up while drinking coffee.

But Hana could only chuckled at her friends difference of energy, "Hey I heard that there's a new student today, rumors going around that he's really cute", Liz said quietly whispering to the other girls

"At least Hana can maybe find someone, it's about time", Rei said rolling her eyes and giving Hana a teasing look "You guys know I'm uninterested in getting a boyfriend, I'd rather cry over studies than boys", As she rolled her eyes after saying that

"Oh come on stop being such a stone", After Liz said that their teacher had come in.

"Quiet down guys, we have a new transfer student today", As the girls started whispering about how cute he was including her friends, "See I told you he was cute, he totally looks like your ideal type", With Liz giving her an excited look and seeing if Rei had the same expression as her.

"Seriously tho, you two would be the cutest couple ever!", Rei said as her and Liz were quietly getting excited together, "come on you guys don't even know my ideal type", "Ladies! Quiet down please, now introduce yourself.", The teacher said to the boy.

"Uhm hi guys, I'm Maeda Riku hope we can be good friends", He said giving an awkward smile. "Alright, let's see why don't you sit next to Rei in the back, raise your hand Rei", The teacher saying as Liz was giving a teasing look.

Riku started to walk towards the back as Rei gave him a welcoming smile, "Hi! I'm Rei, these two in the front are Hana and Liz!", Rei said with a burst of energy almost scaring the poor cat- I mean boy

"ah nice to meet you guys", He said quietly, with Hana taking a second look at him. "Alright now that everything is settled let's get class started", With an hour of boring lecture starting.

"Hey Riku wanna join us for lunch?", One of their classmates Sion went up and asked Riku. "Oh sure that sounds good", Riku saying giving him a small smile, "Ok then see you at lunch!", As he gave Riku a smile and walking away.

Once Riku left, that was when all the talking started happening, "Don't think I didn't see you take a second look at him Hana", Liz saying immediately after Riku was out of sight, "You can't say that your not interested in him even a little", As Rei was getting some snacks out.

"Whatever I do not have interest in him at all, but I do have to say, he is handsome", Hana admitting something about him, as the girls started getting up and heading to the cafeteria. "See! you do have at least a little interest in him", Liz said excitedly already imagining them as a couple.

"You guys are so delusional"

"That's why were all friends silly", Liz saying giving both of the girls a teasing look. "Hey! take that back I am not delusional", Rei saying as Hana agreeing with her. "That's what they all say", Liz chuckling after saying that.

Hana was just riding on her bike home feeling the cool breeze (briize) hit her face, then she saw a familiar face, and it being Riku, girl really didn't anything much of it since it was a small town but as she started getting closer to her house she realized that Riku was her new neighbor (y'all definitely didn't see that coming)

"Rei and Liz are gonna freak out when they see this", thinking about how much her friends are gonna freak out and say "iT's MeAnT tO bE"

By the time she reached home she saw her mom going out the front door holding a plate of some fruits, assuming it was probably for the new neighbors, "Oh Hana your home, could you go bring this to the new neighbors I have a quick errand I need to run", As Hana was putting up her bike and was handed the plate of fruit.

"Uhm sure I can go hand this to the new neighbors", Already nervous about what to say to the new neighbors. "Thanks Hana-ko", And with that her mom was already gone to her errand.

Hana started walking to the front gate of the house, thinking on what she should say to them.. "my mom wanted to welcome you guys in with a plate of fruit she cut up" or "Hi, I saw that you guys just moved in and my mom wanted to give you this plate of fruit as a welcoming gift"

Once she reached the front gate she rang the gate bell (idk if it has an official name or smt), and a girl, who looks a little older than her came to the front, "Oh hi who must you be?", She asked with a little smile, "Oh I'm your next door neighbor, me and my mom saw you guys move in yesterday so we wanted to give a welcoming gift", Somehow going completely different with what she had in mind.

"That's sweet, I'm Aiko, do you wanna come in for a bit?", She said taking the plate of fruit and giving Hana a smile, "I'm Hana, and I would love too but I have some stuff to do, maybe next time!", With an apologetic look on her face.

"That's too bad, but you can come by anytime you want too! My brother is usually home all the time, and I see that you two go to the same school"

"Oh yeah, what a coincidence haha, but I'm gonna get going now, see you around Aiko!", As she started waving goodbye and walking away. "hope to see you around too!", As she also waved back

While the two of them were talking Hana didn't realize that Riku was watching them talk from his window, thinking if he should befriend her since they're neighbors now.

First chapter starting off pretty nicely 🌚 should I add a second lead into this? (dw I won't leave him stranded I will make a book as a sequal to this)
