"Riku! Come down stairs, our new neighbors just have us a plate of fruit", His sister yelled from downstairs, "I'm coming"

"You know the girl I just met looks about your age, she seems really cute"

"Oh really? She's my classmate", He replied just enjoying the fruit. "You two should be friends then, I mean you need to get out of the house more anyways", His sister saying while giving him a teasing smile.

The next few days were just normal, but now everyday when Hana goes to school she stumbles upon Riku, just giving each other awkward hellos.

But today was somehow different..?

"Hey Hana!", Said by Sion with Riku and Yushi next to him all waving at her, surprising the girl since usually she never talks to them, "oh hey guys"

"Wanna walk to school with us? We usually always see you go by yourself ", Sion being the only one talking since the two others are shy asf. "Oh uhm I mean sure...?", Taken aback by the question but she just accepted since they're just being nice right?

"Great let's get going then", As the 4 start heading to school together when suddenly... "Oh shoot me and Yushi have to rush to school for something, why don't you and Riku just walk together", Sion said with an apologetic smile and Yushi just nodding along with what he said.

"Uhm I guess that's ok?", Said awkwardly with the tension at the moment. "uhm I guess bye?" Riku saying confused, thinking about what could possibly make them be in such a rush. (the fact that yushi didnt even talk 😭 mb yushi stans 🙏🏻)

As the two crackheads started running to school the tension was more awkard, "So uhm Riku, where did you move from?", Hana asked trying to create less tension between them, "Oh uhm I moved from Fukui", Said quietly.

"Oh that's cool"

"yeah"

And believe it or not the whole walk to school was awkward as hell.

During class was pretty normal but the teacher randomly made her switch seats with Rei and so now she's sitting next to Riku, which she somehow didn't think much of.

"And so next week you guys will be having a project but with partners," Before the teacher could finish everybody were already whispering and knowing who they were gonna choose as their partners. "Don't get too excited yet, I will be the one choosing your partners but I won't say who it is until after the weekend", And with that everyone started to become dissapointed.

"I wonder who our partners will be", Liz said With both her and Rei turning around to talk to Hana. "I just hope it's one of you", Hana replying, "Mhm us too", the two girls in front secretly giving each other a mischievous smile.

And with that the bell rang which meant the weekend!

"Alright see you guys next week, enjoy your weekend!", As students start leaving the class excited as now was the weekend.
