Around six months has passed since the wedding of Visenya Targaryen and Otto Hightower. Visenya Hightower happened to be around 6 months pregnant with what Otto Hightower described as the true heir to the throne. Visenya had asked Otto if he wouldn't mind waiting until she was older and her body was stronger but he ignored her requests.

Visenya had gone down to the sept with Alicent to pray for a safe birth. Visenya's lit a candle for her mother when Rhaenyra had appeared.

"It's only been half a year since my mother died, and already they have tried to marry my father off and replace me as heir," complained Rhaenyra.

"Well i can't imagine how that feels nyra,"quipped Visenya sarcastically.

"You cannot worry at the matters of lords and kings Rhaenyra," declared Alicent.

"Rhaenyra it wouldn't be the end of the world if father remarried," reasoned Visenya.

"My father remarried and it's been okay," mocked Alicent.

"Nyra father chose you as heir, he loves you," spat Visenya.

"He didn't choose me. He spurns Daemon and you remind him too much of mother he said it haunts him," explained Rhaenyra.

"Kneel with us, I find this a way to be with my mother. Here in the quiet of the sept, i feel close to her. I know it sounds foolish," reflected Alicent.

"I don't think it sounds foolish," responded Visenya.

"I thought you should try it Rhaenyra," offered Alicent.

"What do i say?" questioned Rhaenyra.

"Whatever you want, it's between you and the gods," comforted Visenya.

Visenya quickly realised her and her sister's relationship began to crumble as soon as she married Otto Hightower. As soon as her sister began to pray Visenya left. She couldn't cope with her complaining about possibly loosing her position as heir. That's what Visenya went through and Rhaenyra never apologised.

Visenya laid in her bed chambers. She hadn't slept since her pregnancy was confirmed. Everytime she closed her eyes she saw her mother's lifeless body - her stomach ripped open. The fear of death in childbirth consumed Visenyas every move. She wanted to make amends with everyone in case her time did come.

Visenya visited her father first. She had heard he was having struggles with selecting a wife so she wanted to help him.

"Father Rhaenyra told me the small council desire for you to remarry," Queried Visenya.

"You know i loved your mother very much Visenya but the small council finds it best fit for me to find a new wife," explained Viserys.

"Otto has been asking about a match between you and my step daughter Alicent," broached Visenya.

"Corlys has mentioned Laena," told Viserys.

"Father she is far too young, she wouldn't be able to give you an heir," exclaimed Visenya

"Rhaenyra will not be happy either way. But i'm here father," said Visenya.

"You would have made an amazing queen Visenya," contemplated Viserys.

"Then why didn't you name me heir father, you know it was my birth right," said Visenya as her volume slowly increased.

"I knew you'd never forgive me for your mother's death and i didn't want to have a bitter queen on the throne. Goodbye Visenya," Said Viserys while walking out of his room.

As she was strolling around the castle she bumped into Princess Rhaenys. Visenya slowly approached as she saw she was deep in thought.

"It bothers you doesn't it," spoke Rhaenys.

"My father is a king, it's his duty to take a new wife and strengthen his line," responded Visenya.

"I did not ask for a lesson in politics, i asked whether it bothers you," quipped Rhaenys.

"Laena is your daughter, does it bother you princess?" uttered Visenya.

"Of course it bothers me but i'm used to how court works and how men won't stop until they get a son," reflected Rhaenys.

"If it comforts you i told my father to marry my step daughter Lady Alicent, well Otto told me to ask," comforted Visenya.

"Marrying Otto Hightower is that what you truly desired?" queried Rhaenys.

"No but men like to exert power and have control," chuckled Visenya.

"Does it bother you that your father snubbed you?" questioned Rhaenys.

"Of course it does but i know that the realm will never except a queen no matter who it is, they don't except you," responded Visenya.

"We have both been wronged by men we thought loved us, i wish i would have proposed a marriage between you and Laenor sooner, you would have loved Driftmark," revealed Rhaenys.

Visenya smiled and nodded while realising how much better her life would have been. She wouldn't have become a stepmother / mother so young and she would have had a mother figure in her life.

And there they both sit The queen and heir who never was in silence just stuck in their thoughts of what could have been.

Visenya hadn't been in the council meeting when it was made known her father was to marry Alicent. But Visenya had no opinion on the situation really her and Alicent weren't as close anymore since she told Alicent she was pregnant.
