"Good morning!!!!" Leah sang through the phone 10am on the 1st January 2023.

"Good morning! I missed your gorgeous face!"

"You'll see me soon! Anyway how was your night?" Leah asked with a smug face.

"OMG! You knew?" CJ questioned.

"Oh yeah i did!" She smiled. 

"So how does it feel being a girlfriend?"

"Oh it feels so good!"

"Oooo you're glowing!" Leah teased with a smile making CJ blush and laugh.

"Enough about me! How was your night?" She asked, knowing Leah had a few of their friends over to celebrate NYE.

"Yeah it was good, we were playing board games, I don't think Zeus is a fan of monopoly though! He knocked over our board mid game."

Both girls burst out laughing as Zeus popped his head in the frame of the phone, giving his mum puppy eyes.

"Ohhhh he looks so innocent! I miss them both!" CJ spoke sticking her pet lip out.

"You drama queen!" Leah heard Jack shout making both girls laugh.

"Anyway i'll let you go, I'll see you tomorrow. Love you CJ."

"Love you more Leah, bye!"

Once ending the phone Cecilia made her way downstairs to go join Jack baking in the kitchen.

"Wow it smells so good in here!" She complimented the boy.

"Banana bread with chocolate chips!" He smiled proud of himself, as he slid a slice over to the girl.

The girls eyes widened as she took a bite.

"Wow! That is unreal! I'm gonna have to take some home with me tomorrow!"

"Do you really like it?"

"Like it? Jack! I love it!" She smiled giving him a peck on the lips.

The boy put another batch in for the girl to take home the next day, while the girl was setting up the boys jacuzzi he had in the garden.

Luckily for them, the jacuzzi was in its own hut so they could be hid away from the cold January air.

Jack was first in the hot tub while he waited for CJ to get changed.

His jaw hit the floor as he watched the girl walk out the house in her swimsuit.

"You'll catch flies," she laughed as she climbed in next to him.

"It's worth it for you," he smiled.

The couple spent the next hour chatting in the jacuzzi until they called it a night, having quick showers before putting on a movie and going to bed.
