The sunrays peaked out of the curtains in Sanemi's room, caressing his cheek till it landed on his closed eyelids.

He rustled in his sheets before sitting up and gazing at the empty room before him. Day two. Sanemi rubbed his face in his hand as he got to his face, moving out of the suns piercing light. He puts on his pants and makes his way into the kitchen, excited for the tea he is about to prepare.

Sanemi was not shocked to find Giyuu sitting at the dining table, sipping on his own cup of tea. No exchanges were made other than a glance, once Sanemi's tea had been made he sat across from the raven haired man and stared out the window, admiring the view.

After a moment Giyuu stood to put away his mug, Sanemi raised his empty cup in the air, motioning it for Giyuu. Without a word, he took it with him to wash, however the moment he grabbed it from his hand, he haltered.

His hands are cold.

Giyuu walked past him to wash up the cups.

"What do you think is the best place to start? We won't get far without finding out more about this place."

Giyuu spoke with his usual banal tone. Sanemi glanced over at him, diverting his attention from the mirror where he was attempting to fix his hair.

He stayed silent for a moment, thinking.

"We should focus on finding information about Hajimari, deduce whether he is a demon or not." Sanemi sipped his tea.

Giyuu nodded in agreement.

After a few moments, Sanemi stood up and wash his cup before leaving to sit on the floor of the living room, pulling out his blade and sharpening it. The screaming of metal and scrapping erupted through the room while Giyuu sat in thought over the next few weeks.

Four weeks with a man who could not care less about whether or not I live. Giyuu stared at him for a moment. He turned away to put away his dishes and return to his room.

The two boys turned their attention to the front door, where the knocking had echoed through the house from. Sanemi glanced at Giyuu with a knowing expression.
The invitation.

Giyuu brushed some of his hair to seem a bit more presentable before walking towards the door and opening it, preparing for anything.

To Giyuu's surprise, rather than a guard or official, a young woman dressed formally stood before them. She resembled a late teenager, maybe early 20's.

She bowed, rather low, before speaking. "Welcome to Kanazawa. I am Hana Hajimari."

Hajimari?

Giyuu bowed back at her, "It's an honor." He replied courteously.

She smiled at him, "I came to invite you to the Diamyos home, he wishes to introduce himself and our wonderful city to newcomers."  She turned to look at the home of Hajimari and turned back to him. "Tell me, what's your name?"

Giyuu hesitated for a moment, but feigned a smile and replied, "I am Giyuu Tomioka."

She turned her gaze away from him and offered her hand. "Will I see you tonight at my father's house?"

He took her hand gently.

"You can expect to see me and my mentor there tonight, thank you."

After a moment she turned and vanished down the road, Giyuu closed the door and sighed.

Sanemi stared at him for a moment as Giyuu sat against the couch. "Who invited us?" He asked, a bit pissed to have to go through the trouble.

"The Diamyos daughter." He stated bluntly as usual.
