The Knowledge of Bhagavad Gita is based on the narrative framework of famous dialogues between the Lord Krishna, an avatar of Vishnu and his friend and devotee the Pandava prince Arjuna in the epic Mahabharata war between the Pandavas and the Kauravas at the battlefield of KURUKSHETRA
•But what was the main cause of this war?
•How did this all happened?THE KURU CLAN
Kuru was a vedic Indo-Aryan tribal union in northern Iron-Age India of the Bharata and other Puru clans.
In the epic Mahabharat, the Kuru is said to be the descendants of the Pandavas and also the Kauravas.
Dhritarashtra and Pandu were born brothers in Kuru Clan. Elder brother Dhritarashtra was born blind because of this the throne of Kuru Clan was supposed to belongs to him was given to the younger brother Pandu.
Pandu had five sons called Pandavas (Yudhishthir, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakul and Sahdev).
Dhritarashtra the father of Kauravas, a blind king of the Kuru Clan ruling kuru jangala kingdom headed by Duryodhana.
When Pandu died at younger age. Five Pandavas were placed under the care of Dhritarashtra, was a king for a short time at this time all Pandavas and Kauravas were grew up equally in Royal Family. All of them were taught weaponry by Guru-Dronacharya and well guided by reverend father Bhishma of the Kuru Dynasty.
Despite this, Dhritarashtra's sons especially the eldest son Duryodhana hatred and envy towards Pandavas. Also the blind Dhritarashtra wanted his sons to inherit the kingdom,not the Pandavas.
With the consent of Dhritarashtra, Duryodhana decided to kill younger sons of the Pandu but no one can done so far because of the careful protection of his uncle Vidur and maternal brother Krishna that the Pandavas got escaped.
