School is around the corner! But before school comes I need it! To give Raji a promise ring, I'm currently at Swarovski buying her ring. I'm buying three. I need one for promise, one for engagement, and for marrying her and I need it now!
"Hello! Welcome to Swarovski! How may I help you?" she shakes my hand and I walked in looking at the choices
"I need exactly three rings. But I need them to progressively get bigger. I want the karat staring at eight and then to 24!" she smiled and I returned the same smile
"Well, you are in luck! We have this deal going for buy two get 75% off! And what you looking for, is, this!" she said finding a collection
She marveled as she gazed at the stunning display. "This exquisite piece boasts an eight-karat ring with a captivating purple diamond nestled within. For the engagements of a lifetime, we have a resplendent sixteen-karat diamond. And behold this beauty - a twenty-four-karat wonder. As a bonus, complimentary initials can be embedded beneath."
She explained and showed me everything "Perfect how much?" I said smiling "Let's go to check out!" I nodded, I followed her and she rang up my items. "Okay... it is 3,893.23! Card or cash?" she said looking at me "Cash"
I pulled out my cash and counted, "here you go" I said handing her the cash "Would you like to donate your change to the local adoption center?"
I just spent three fuc- no I don't want to fucking donat— Of course, I responded with a smile. "Thank you for your generosity. Would you be interested in rounding up your total for our charitable cause?
Didn't she just ask me this shit? "Which one?" I said with a smile. "Let's consider supporting the Save the Animals charity"
How about saving me? "Sure!" I replied once again. "Would you-" I interrupted her, saying, "You are pushing it. Can I receive my rings now?" Her response was a smile as she handed me my receipt.
She carefully nestled the shimmering rings in individual velvet boxes that were each adorned in different colors - one in regal purple, another in passionate red, and the third in pristine white.
Despite the varying hues, each presentation was perfect in its unique way. As I bid her farewell, a smile spread across my face, I had just been robbed and wasn't even at gunpoint. A damn shame!
I walked out of the mall and headed to Target. Just then, Taraji called me and I could tell something was wrong by the tone of her voice "Baby?" she said shakily "Are you okay?"- "I miss you, Fantasia," she said with a quiver in her voice. I chuckled a bit and said, "I miss you too, mamas"
"Can you come to get me?" she asked, her voice breaking as she wiped her eyes. "you on your period huh?" she nodded "I'm already ready"- "She added "Alright, I'm coming. I love you, princess" - "I love you too, and hurry!" she responded
I couldn't help but chuckle as I ended the call. After turning off the engine, I headed into the Target with a spring in my step. I picked out everything we needed for a romantic picnic on the beach—just for my love.
With my mother watching the twins for the weekend, I was free to indulge in some quality time. I packed up all the picnic supplies in the trunk and set off to pick up Taraji.
I arrived at her house and knocked vigorously. "BABY!" she exclaimed as she flung the door open and leaped into my arms.
"Hi princess," I said, embracing her tightly. "Are you ready?" She looked at me with confusion. "A picnic is waiting for us," I said with a grin.
"For real?" she asked, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears.
"Yes, baby, don't cry," I said, wiping away her tears. "I'm not," she said, tears streaming down her face. "Okay," I said, taking her hand and leading her to the car.
"I love you, Fantasia," I said with a smile. "I love you too," she replied as I kissed her and held the car door open for her. "Make sure you buckle up!" I reminded her, and she nodded as I closed the door.
As we cruised in peaceful silence, the touch of my hand on her thigh and her head leaning on my arm created an intimate connection. We were lost in the music when she suddenly began singing along. "Do you like this song?" I asked, and she nodded enthusiastically. "I adore Keith! His love songs resonate with me like nothing else," she exclaimed. Her words made me chuckle softly. "Look, the sunset is starting," I pointed out as we arrived at the beach.
"Ready?" I said turning off the car, she smiled and nodded I got out first and then opened her door "Come here" I said ushering her to the trunk "What happened?"
"Stand right there" She froze with her eyebrows pinching together, I opened the trunk and grabbed a black blindfold "Can I put this on you?" she nodded slowly as her face showed she was more confused
I blindfolded her and said, 'Give me your hand, okay?' She hesitantly grabbed my hand, and I guided her to sit on the hood of my car. 'Don't worry, I'm not leaving. I'm just setting something up,' I assured her.
As I heard her joke, "Well I hope you won't leave seeing how I'm sitting on your hood," I couldn't help but roll my eyes and chuckle in response, "Whatever!" I quickly made my way to the trunk to gather all the stuff.
I have laid out a beautiful pink tulip-printed blanket as the base for our picnic. Next to it, I have set up a classic picnic basket filled with an assortment of fresh fruits and a chilled bottle of champagne. In addition, I have prepared a canvas on the sand, complete with a set of paints and a few water bottles for us to enjoy some creative time by the beach.
"Are you ready?" she nodded eagerly. I carefully placed the white box containing the promise ring in my pocket and led her to the sandy shore. "I'm going to take it off now," she groaned in anticipation.
I couldn't believe it when I removed the blindfold and saw her reaction - her face froze in disbelief. She was in tears as she whispered, 'Fantasia, I don't deserve you.' It was such an intense moment!
I want to remind you of this heartfelt message:
"You mean the world to me! You are the reason I wake up every day, second only to my children! From the moment I open my eyes in the morning to when I close them at night, all I can think about is you. You, Taraji, are my everything. I love you! You stood by me when I shared my deepest secret with you. You were by my side when I went to pick up my daughter. At that moment, I knew you were my soulmate. You have been and continue to be my life. You are my heart, my soulmate, my partner in crime, my rock, my world, my everything! And I want to be your everything."
As I took out the ring box, I noticed her eyes glistening with tears. "Taraji, I promise to love and cherish you. I promise to always communicate with you and truly listen because communication without understanding is meaningless. Taraji, I love you so much! I want everything for and with you. My love for you cannot be expressed enough. Please accept my love and wear this ring with pride, knowing that I will always, and I mean always, love you," I declared as I slid the ring onto her finger.
Her face beamed with joy as she exclaimed, "Fantasia!" while gazing at the ring. "I..." I gently interrupted her as she attempted to speak. "Come with me, my love," I said, leading her to the blanket.
"Let's savor this beautiful sunset and each other's company," I suggested, seating her beside me. "Fantasia, I love you more than anything and I can't wait to build a future together." I grinned with pure happiness.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, we stood hand in hand, soaking in the warm colors painting the sky. "I love you too," I whispered, and my heart swelled with joy. In that moment, everything felt perfect, and I couldn't have been happier.
