Jason's POV
"Alright we got everything you ready to go home?" I asked picking up the bags & the gifts.
"I think so I'm nervous though." She mumbled waking out the room down the hall to the elevator.
"Don't be... You will be fine." I said smiling.
We got onto the elevator & it was quiet until it stopped letting a whole bunch of people in. Me & my protective instincts I gentle grab her waist pulling her into me holding her there.
After it finally came to a stop I walked out & let go of her waist but still keeping a close eye on her. "You know you didn't have to do that Jason." She mumbled.
"Just wanted to keep you safe."
I noticed ever since she got shot I been protective. Over protective? But who's wouldn't she got shot twice. My fault the first time & the second time was my fault too.. Near death. Wow.
We finally made it to the car & the car ride home was silent.
*SKIPPING TILL THEY GET HOME*
"Where's Aurora?" she asked when we were walking into house.
"She's in school.. She should be home soon." I said walking inside with the bags.
"Anything seem familiar?" I asked setting the bags down.
"Umh...?" She mumbled until she heard two dogs. Diego & Riely came running up to her.
"Awe! There's so cute!." She said smiling wide letting Diego & Riley tackle her with licks all over the face.
"That's Diego and Riley ?" I pointed at them.
She nodded and smiled wide keeping on petting them.
"Hey Erika.... I hope your not busy tonight I'm taking you out." I told her walking into the kitchen.
She laughed. "I don't even get a say?"
I raised my eyebrow at her. "I was just saying but where are we going?" She said sitting on the island table.
"A place in pretty sure you love."
"I love food." She said seriously.
"They will be lots of food & I know you do." I laughed.
"DADDY!" Aurora came running in smiling wide holding a paper.
"What is it?"
Oh yeah. I decided to place Aurora back in school.... But not a that school instead of going to a public school she will be going to a private school.
"So there was a test today! & I got a 100! That's a a lot!" She said smiling wide holding up the paper.
"Really! We should hang it on the fridge sow everyone could see it. My mommy used to do that to me when I was little." Erika said jumping into the conversation.
Aurora understood that Erika lost her memory & doesn't remember her... But it's really hard from Aurora right now. So she try's her best not to call Erika mommy.
Aurora nodded smiling wide. Erika jumped off the Island & grabbed Aurora's hand getting a magnet & placing the paper on the fridge.
"Beautiful!" Erika said high-fiving Aurora.
"Alright Aurora... If you have homework go do it now you know the drill." I said sternly.
She sighed but nodded grabbing her book bag siting at the table doing her homework.
