Chapter - 3 - Roofs conjoined!

The final bell rings and it's time for everyone to go home...

Haruki quickly starts to walk towards his home just as soon as the bell rang since, he doesn't like to be surrounded by a bunch people either ways...
As he is in the middle of his way to home, he suddenly noticed a black shadow following him; he gets a little alert, nervous and slightly twists his gaze in an attempt to see who it might be. He felt that the shadow seemed a bit familiar...

Suddenly, to his surprise, it struck him that it's Sakura.
He starts to walk as fast as he could whilst questioning her whole existence here...

At first he assumes that she will stop following him eventually, but when this continues for 5 mins or so.
He turns around and just angrily shouts at her...

Hey! You! didn't I tell you already that I don't like to be bothered...why on earth are you following me now?
First you tried conversing with me without my permission and now you're trying to stalk me to my home? Are you out of your goddam mind ? I will call the cops on you if you do this...do you understand!?

Sakura was walking lost in her own myriad thoughts to notice anything let alone him, and suddenly when the blackish shadow walking in the peripheral vision of her suddenly turned around and started to shout aggressively;  it took her a few moments to actually make sense of the whole scenario.

Then it struck her that it's Haruki who is talking to her like that...
She immediately felt pissed and in the heat of the moment replied back with annoyance  -

"My goodness, I have never met a guy as egoistic, arrogant and it seems of now, embarrassingly delusional too!
Believe me when I say this, the first time the way you told me stay away and not bother you I understood that you are not worth my single ounce of effort.
And you think I am following you??
No Mr. I am pleased to inform your delusional self that I am simply heading to where my home is.
And for me to stalk you? Well go ahead, dream on!"

Listening to this Haruki gets even more annoyed turns around and starts walking in an even more faster pace until he completely disappears from Sakura's view.

Finally, as he reaches home he is happy to find that his mother had prepared his favourite cuisine for him today.
It was White sauce pasta with extra oregano. Just the way he liked!
He quickly went and changed into his uniform to his home clothes.
And washed himself a little in the preparation to enjoy the delicacy.
But before that his mother first asked him to go and share some with the new neighbours that have recently arrived...
Though Haruki doesn't like meeting tons of people, he didn't necessarily mind this task too much since he had met the woman that lived the neighborhood once and she treated him very nicely the first time he met her... From then on he had a good impression of her
So he straight away gets up and walks towards the neighborhood in order to share the delicacy his mother made...

Here, Sakura also reaches home in an irritable mood because of everything that happened on the street...and was about to have her lunch with her mother but suddenly they heard the door bell ringing
She and her mother walked outside of the dining room to check who it might be...

The door opens and it's Haruki...
And both Sakura and Haruki have brisk moment of eye contact and they both almost shout in the same utterly shocked tone and together...'Youuu?!'
Haruki says, 'you are her daughter?'
'Seriously?'
Sakura's mother joins them with,
'Oh Haruki, I forgot to inform you on your first visit but I do have a daughter, I wanted to introduce you to her but it seems like you both already familiar with each other'
Sakura replies 'yeah mom... actually we study in the same class' still carrying an expression of shock on her face.
Finally Haruki says still looking a bit stressed and shocked 'well, it was great meeting you both, here's something for you sent via my mother, hope you enjoy the meal...take good care goodbye!' and then he quickly gets out from the place.
Sakura's mother says to her looking confused,
Last time he stayed for a while when he came, what happened to him now?
Sakura just asked her mother to not think too much about it and they both got back to their lunch...
All the while, both of them thinking about how could they be neighbours suddenly.

Now, it suddenly made sense to Haruki on why Sakura was following him.

Sakura realised that, it was Haruki her mother was praising very recently as the neighborhood boy who was excellent in calculations
and helped her with money management on her first meet.
