Veer's pov:

Next morning
I wake up around 7 to go for my daily workout session and spend an hour there taking my frustration out on the punching bag. I couldnt take my mind off from last night's incidents. The way she was crying miserably when i threatened to force myself upon her and how she ran away as soon as i got up.. can i be wrong in judging her? No that cant happen uhhh i cannot let her acting fool me... i aM the Veer Malhotra and nothing can melt me at all!!!

After my workout, i head towards my room and decide to check upon her and wake her up so that we can leave for my penthouse after saying goodbye to my parents. They will be more than happy to know this that their son is taking their daughter in law for their private time alone. Huh private time my foot.
When i open the door to her room which is my secret room for emergencies and my store room, i  feel a twinge of guilt in my chest because of the scene that lies in front of me...

She is sleeping like a baby on the floor in an awkward posture with her knees touching her stomach due to cold maybe and tucked herself in a filthy sheet.

I feel bad for her and take a step to slightly wake her up but then my inside monster awakens and i just clear my throat loudly making her move and she slightly opens her eyes and looks around as if getting familiar with the surroundings and when it finally hits her where she is, she sits up straight and looks at me and gasps so loud that i hear it properly.
"Get up and get ready... we have to go to my penthouse coz thats our real home where we will live from now on"
" Veer but i dont have any clothes to change what should i wear"
As if i care what she wears but yes my parents will question if she doesnt wear good clothes and get suspicious.
" go and freshen up, i will send clothes"
I turn and leave the door open and step outside but wait near the door for her to come out so that i can lock my secret room properly.
I hear her talking to herself so i get closer to the door to hear her.. "hey mahadev please take care of me and help me win his trust"

Why does she wants to win my trust? She cannot win it ever. I wont allow her to get what she wants that is my trust so that she can live like a queen with my money but no i wont let that happen!!
I hear her wince when she gets up maybe because of sleeping on the floor and that makes me feel bad for her but i ignore that feeling and quietly walk towards the room.
Next i call one of my men and order him to bring me some good pair of clothing for my wife in half an hour and pairs of shoes, purses etc. I cannot let my parents think that she doesnt has good clothes or good stuff and become suspicious so she can wear all that good stuff but she will get to know her reality very soon.

Akriti's pov:
I wince while getting up from the floor because my back hurts so much from sleeping there ... but ik i cannot say anything or else he will think more wrong about me. I quietly walk outside the room towards the washroom and do my morning routine. Then i take a shower and wash my hair with his shampoo because thats the only shampoo that is kept there and clean my body completely. The hot water makes my back feel good and all of the exhaustion from yesterday fades away with it.
What all i had to face yesterday, how my life turned upside down in just a day...

My job shift starts at 12 toda...my job!!!! My job!!! No i cant leave that job i have to go else they will fire me but thats the only income of mine!! I decide to talk to him after getting ready.
Suddenly there is a knock on the door and i wrap the towel around myself and slightly open the door to find a maid there with clothes in her hands. I thank her and take those clothes from her and quickly get ready. I am wearing a red colour suit and decide to leave my hair open.
