MIA

Two days have passed since the court marriage with Ekam. We hadn't seen each other since he left after signing the papers, and I'm pretty sure he will be freaking out by now. I still remember his words before he left me with his secretary.

"Take this blank cheque, do whatever you wanna do. But at night you should come to my place, so I can introduce you to my family."

And I still haven't gone to his house. To be honest, I was busy concealing my real identity properly so he doesn't get suspicious of me, because from now on I'm going to live with him. So it took me two days to ensure everything would run smoothly.

After grabbing coffee from my favourite cafe, I'm on my way to Mr. Ahuja's office. I reached his office, paid the driver and went inside from the main entrance.

"Hello! Good morning." I wished the receptionist.

"Good morning! How can I help you?" She asked me with a smile on her face.

I'm here to meet Mr. Ekam Ahuja. Can you tell me on which floor his office is?" I asked her.

"Do you have an appointment with sir?" She inquired of me.

"No." I denied.

"I'm sorry then, Sir doesn't meet anyone without an appointment." She said.

"Can you please call him and let him know that the girl from court marriage is here to meet him?" I suggested her to say court marriage girl because I'm pretty sure he still doesn't know my name.

The receptionist agreed and after confirming with him, she told me to wait and within two minutes his PA came and guided me to his office.

I knocked on the door of his office and entered after hearing a 'come in'.

"Hello! Mr Ahuja." He was sitting on his chair, looking straight towards me.

"That day I clearly told you that I want to introduce you to my family, but you didn't come. So where have you been?" He stood up from his seat and came in front of me.

"I was busy." I simply replied.

"Where? With your boyfriend." He said and looked straight into my eyes, but I don't know why it feels like he is looking into my soul.

"I was tied up for a bit that day, so i couldn't come to your house or contact you. But honestly I don't have your address or phone number." I paused for a second took a deep breath and said "And don't forget we agreed to never interfere in each other's personal life."

"Okay, sit here for a while. I have a meeting and then we will go to my house together." He said and left for his meeting.
