LIBYA: SECRETS OF THE DESERT
Under the burning skies of Libya,
The golden dunes dance in the wind,
The desert whispers ancient secrets,
A sea of sand, infinite and captivating. The Grand Erg Oriental, ocean of dunes,
The caravans trace ephemeral paths,
The Tuaregs, proud and free, like runes,
Their lives written in the austere sands.Tripoli, the Mediterranean pearl,
Its streets vibrate with ancient history,
The lively markets, the ephemeral scents,
The medina breathes centuries of urban life.Leptis Magna, jewel of the Roman Empire,
Its ruins speak of grandeur and glory,
The columns and arches, divine masterpieces,
Tell stories of power and memory. The Akakus Mountains, art gallery,
The rock engravings, witnesses of another age,
The hunting, dancing, departure scenes,
Tell a story of a life, wild and wise.Benghazi, city of contrasts and struggles,
The colorful markets, the mixed voices,
Memories of a past that can be listened to,
The walls speak of turbulent days. The Gulf of Sirte, azure expanse,
The waves caress the golden beaches,
The fishermen draw their nets in murmurs,
The sea and the sand, eternal allies.Ghadamès, the oasis of a thousand secrets,
The white houses, frescoes of light,
The cool alleys, discreet labyrinths,
A peaceful refuge under a clear sky.Bedouin traditions, nomadic life,
The tents erected under the stars,
Songs around the fire, walks,
Libya, land of tales and sails. The oases of Fezzan, real mirages,
The palm groves, beneficial shadows,
Hidden waters, essential treasures,
Life emerges, fragile and vibrant.Under the immense sky of Libya,
The sands keep precious memories,
Each grain tells a life, a harmony,
Libya, a living, mysterious and majestic poem.------------------------------
