Sirius woke up with the biggest goofy smile ever, feeling a burst of excitement. Today was a special day. He got up quickly and stretched his arms wide, practically bouncing on his feet.
"Good morning, Hogwarts!" he yelled, his voice echoing through the dormitory.
Remus groaned and rubbed his eyes, annoyed. "Shut up, Sirius!" the werewolf muttered, throwing a pillow at him.
Sirius dodged the pillow with a grin, retaliating by tossing another pillow back at Remus. James, still deeply asleep, let out a loud snore, oblivious to the commotion around him.
Peter, meanwhile, was just waking up, blinking sleepily. "Ugh, Sirius, why are you so giddy?" he asked, yawning.
Sirius's smile widened even more, if that was possible. "It's my date with Iya today, Peter! How could I not be happy?" He practically skipped to the bathroom to get ready.
Remus shook his head, watching Sirius disappear into the bathroom. "This should be interesting," he mumbled to himself.
Peter gigggled and nodded before getting interrupted by another loud snore who belonged to James.
When Sirius ready, he dashed out of the dormitory, almost colliding with several students in the hallway. His energy was unmatched.
Sirius decided to kill some time by heading to the Quidditch pitch. He watched a bit of the Ravenclaw practice, his eyes scanning the field for Iya. When he finally spotted her, his heart skipped a beat.
Iya was just finishing a spectacular dive, catching the Quaffle with ease. She landed gracefully and wiped the sweat from her forehead, looking around. Her gaze met Sirius's, and she raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised to see him there.
Sirius walked over, trying to play it cool. "Hey, Iya," he said with a charming smile.
Iya gave him a weird look and ignored him.
"You're amazing out there, you know."
Iya rolled her eyes and started walking to get her broom. "Flattery will get you nowhere, Black."
"Oh, come on, Iya," Sirius said, leaning against a wall to block her from going away. "You know you like it."
She shook her head, but there was a hint of amusement in her eyes. "I hate when you keep on doing that, blocking me, Also, you're ridiculous."
"Maybe." Sirius admitted, "but I'm your ridiculous date for today. Ready for our grand adventure?"
"You're so..." Iya trails off, clearly annoyed that he kept on buggin her, "Charming?" Sirius replies with a cheeky grin.
