honor's prologue: synopsis - disclaimer - additional info
── synopsis: hyunjin, the crown prince of the fire nation, is set on a task to infiltrate and take down the water tribe chief of the north pole. after he dishonored his family, his father had given a permanent punishment for his wrongdoing—a grim scar on the left side of his face. thereafter, he was determined to return to the fire nation with his honor and father's approval in order to fulfill his supposed destiny as the prince. alternatively, minho strives to protect the northern water tribe and its leader as the head warrior. after losing his family and previous home to the fire nation, he lost all sympathy and showed no mercy toward any firebender. unknowingly, the duo would find comfort in each other's polarity.

additional info: for those who haven't watched atla or for those who need a refresher, there are four "ethnicities" and/or elements. firebenders belong to the fire nation, waterbenders to water tribe, earthbenders to earth kingdom, and airbenders to air nomads. in this story, there won't be an avatar because i felt it wouldn't fit. each element has its respective special abilities (e.g lightning for firebenders or healing powers for waterbenders) that can be mastered only by skilled benders. throughout the book, each speciality technique will be revealed for each of the characters, but for now, you may know their standard abilities: hyunjin is a firebender, seungmin is an airbender, minho/jeongin are waterbenders, changbin/han/felix are earthbenders, and chan is a nonbender. if there is any confusion, feel free to comment and questions will be answered. i'll always recommend you watch atla if you haven't though—10/10 show!
