" Sir " Two voices came in unison.

Yibo looked up and saw Mr Li and Mrs Zhang, looking at each other.

" Mr Li, what's the matter ? You are supposed to tag along chairman Xiao ?" Yibo asked, he was in his office. He had no idea what's the other man was doing in his office.

" Sir, there is problem. I know you are going through a lot..."

" Don't go round and round." Yibo said , sternly.

" Chairman Xiao's meeting went well but some foreign investors is asking for CEO Xiao's presence as it's time for annual meeting." Mr Li said. He had no idea how to handle them.

" There is new project which is in progress, right ?" Yibo said.

Mr Li nodded in agreement.

" Made them to focus on that. They will get busy in analysing about the profit. Also fix a date after two months for meeting." Yibo said.

Mr Li immediately get on work. He knew what he had to do now.

" Mr Zhang, you can continue." Yibo said.

" The annual reports has come, Sir."

Yibo nodded and Mr Zhang placed the files over the desk. Those were from the other two companies.

" Mr Li, I prefer if you won't run to me at the first moment you found trouble. You should go to chairman." Yibo said.

Mr Li understood Wang Yibo. It's not that he was incapable but he was not the boss and he had no intention of diving deep into something which was not him. He would surely protect his lover's hardwork but he would never replace him.

Neither he could not he wanted.

" I'm sorry, Sir." Mr Li apologise.

Yibo hummed.

After that Yibo called Shao to ask about progress but to his dismay, they got nothing. Even Yang was doing his best. He even visited Yibo to comfort him.

Around one in night, Yibo received a call from Yang. He was not sleeping. He could not. He immediately picked up and found Yang was coming at his place.

He even asked to call Shao and Mr Kang.

Yibo did and waited for his friend with the two bodyguards in his study.

" What's the matter, Yang ?" Yibo asked. He was almost lifeless. There was emptiness around him, inside him.

Yang fight back his tears. He coughed slightly.

" I received this." Yang showed a voice recorder to Yibo.

" From where ?" Yibo asked.

" In front of my house. Inside a box with your name on it. If was not from some delivery." Yang said and Yibo understood.

He took the recorder and played it.

" I won't beat around the bush. You want Master Xiao safe and I want you. Let's do a fair deal. He is alive so better give me a response in one hours. Because it's the most patience I've left with him. Delete this and send me your answer from this only and then we can discuss further. Leave this recorder inside the park near your friend's house."

The recording ended and everyone greeted their teeth except Yibo who was calm.

He immediately deleted it and started new recording.

" Ok"

That's it.

Everyone was shocked.

" Yibo , are you crazy? How can we trust him ? What's the guarantee that he won't harm Xiao Zhan after that or he hasn't harm him yet?" Yang was almost going crazy.
