𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚. the librarian

Y/N surprisingly had a really good sleep for the first time in her life.

She did not set an alarm this time and yet she was still able to wake up early. Since she really doesn't go out all her life, she doesn't know what to do except for her plan to visit the local library to read something or find inspirations in books.

Of course she wanted to go sightseeing, but her schedule for it is still next week.

Looking at the time, it was only 8AM. She decided to prepare and take a shower. After that, she went to have breakfast and finally visited the library.

When she entered, there were no people around except for one man who's sitting at the librarian's desk, Y/N squinted her eyes at the familiar figure.

'I think he's the man I accidentally bumped last night'

"Uhm, good morning" she greeted and the man looked up at her, upon a closer look, he was actually wearing a ponytail.

"May I know if I could get a library card?" She asked but the man only took a piece of paper and a pen.

"Please write your name, age and adress" he said and Y/N did. After that heasked her to sit as he typed in his computer and then took a picture of her then printed the card.

"Here are the library rules" he said and gave her a copy.

"Thank you" Y/N said and went to find a seat.

Y/N never felt so awkward with interacting with him, sure she was an introvert herself, but he looks more introverted than her.

'Meeting another introvert is difficult sometimes'

"Let's see" she muttered and read the rules and hummed in satisfaction.

She went to the literature section and scanned some books in the shelves, and she spotted a book that she wanted to read, however she was not tall enough to reach that part of the shelf, she tried tiptoeing but she still couldn't reach it, until someone took it effortlessly and Y/N turned to look at who it was, it was the librarian.

"Oh, thank you... sorry I didn't get your name" she said.

"Tomioka Giyu" he said.

"Tomioka-san, thank you" she bowed and the man only nodded and started walking back to his seat.

Y/N then went back to her spot as well.

'Librarians are usually quiet but he's way too quiet' she thought, but it was good for her, she really doesn't want attention from anyone.

The book she felt like reading is a poetry book. She spent reading it for fifteen minutes when she decided to take her notebook and pen out and started scribbling, until she has finalized her own poem.

She writes everything about love,
but has never found love.
Made everyone feel loved,
but has never been loved.
All these realizations just dawned upon her recently,
and then she asked herself, "Have I ever been this lonely?"

After reading it again, she felt mad and crossed it out on the paper then sighed.

'Why am I still sad over him? I shouldn't be already, I thought I have only pure hatred for that man'

She closed her eyes to shake the feeling away, and when she opened them, her gaze landed on the librarian.

'He's kinda cute' she unconsciously thought. 'No, no more heartbreaks for you, Y/N' she badly want to hit hear head on the table. Suddenly, she doesn't want to read anymore so she decided to return the book on the shelf, but when she stood there, she remembered she cannot reach the shelf where it was once placed.
