A week has passed already and Y/N still doesn't know what to do in this vacation.

Like, yes she should enjoy, but she's just stuck. So everyday she would just visit the library and everyday she would meet the librarian. They don't really talk much, since it was pretty clear to Y/N that he doesn't like talking. So Y/N would just sit there quietly while reading a book or doing some sketches.

This time, she brought her sketch pad and drew the cherry blossoms by the lake near her hotel.

She was concentrating so much while listening to music that she didn't notice the man was standing behind her.

"L/N" he called but still no response.

"L/N" he called again but she didn't even budge. This time he already tapped her on her shoulder which startled her.

"Oh! I'm sorry, Tomioka-san" she said. "Is there any problem?" She asked.

"We're closing early today" he said and glanced at her sketch pad.

"You draw?" He asked.

"Yeah" she said and closed her sketchpad.

"I'll get going" she said and started packing her things.

"It's beautiful" he suddenly said which made Y/N pause.

"Uhm, thank you" she said, she was blushing a little, no one has ever complimented her with her sketches that were not her manga, for a long while.

"You have talent" he said.

"Thanks" she replied, somehow, for the first time, she didn't feel awkward.

"You can have a better view of the cherry blossoms down the road after Saburo-san's bookstore, there's a bridge there " he said.

"Thank you for the suggestion, Tomioka-san, I'll definitely go there" she said and Giyu just nodded then went back to his desk to fix his things.

Y/N somehow felt relieved that the man doesn't hate her. For a while she thought he was mad at her or something, because the kids kept coming here after class to see her.

This made Y/N glad, maybe she can be friends with him, Sabito has been telling her that they kind of have the same vibe. Y/N had no siblings, but she did not feel lonely growing up because she had cousins to play with, however, when her cousins moved to another town, they grew apart and she has been alone since then.

In her senior year in high school she was also labeled as weird since she's aloof with her classmates. That's because she experienced so many friendship betrayals that she has decided to not fully trust anybody and put a distance with others.

Mitsuri knows how difficult it was to really get close with her, and it took her a while to see Y/N open up freely with her. That's why Mitsuri hated Douma, because she saw how Y/N broke her walls for him, but he only wasted her feelings.

If she can only control people, Mitsuri would actually want Y/N and Sanemi to be together, because of all the editors paired up with Y/N, only he had the best chemistry with her, they work so well together and gets each other, the only problem is his temper. But Sanemi knows how to steer Y/N, and Y/N also knows how to calm Sanemi down. They were so different but they compliment each other well. A win-win for both of them.

Yet despite being close with Mitsuri, Y/N still doesn't open up much to her. She was just so wary with everyone, she doesn't want to get hurt again. Sometimes she wishes she could clone herself, maybe then she can have someone who can fully understand her.

At times she wants to open up with Mitsuri, she is also busy and sometimes forgets Y/N wanted to talk with her.

When that happens, Y/N just doesn't mind anymore and tries to solve everything by herself.
