Chapter 10

Vegas' Pov

We drove to the airport in one car while the bodyguards from the main family followed us closely behind in another vehicle. We are only taking four bodyguards to South Korea since Kang Chen will be arranging more security there for us.

My mind wandered back to my lover. I miss him even though it's been just ten minutes since we departed from the mansion. The last look he gave me when I closed the car door shot through my eyes as I closed them to inhale his scent that was still lingering around me.

I heard giggles from the rear seat and I clenched my hands hard in anger. These two love birds are whispering and laughing while I'm having this intense internal struggle to prevent myself from going back to Pete. I'm sitting in the front with the bodyguard who's driving while pretending to not know what's happening beside him.

"Cut it out you two...!!" I almost roared at them without being able to endure their flirting. What a shit show!!

"Somebody is jealous...." Porsche laughed loudly as I suppressed my urge to drag him out of the car and just kill him.

"Porsche, don't make me a murderer now...." I growled and he laughed again. This crazy bastard has zero fear about me.

"Vegas, you're missing Pete already... Porsche, don't provoke him. Pete is not here to stop him from going on a rampage...." Kinn said it with much seriousness and I was almost thankful for this to him.

Porsche stopped giggling reluctantly. I took my mobile and opened Pete's chat with a smile on my lips.

"Hey...." I sent it immediately waiting for him to reply at the same speed. My expectations didn't go down because his reply came so fast.

"I'm here..." I could already imagine the sad face he was making while texting me.

"I miss you..." My fingers trembled as I typed the message.

"I miss you too...."

"Kinn and Porsche are pissing me off..."

"What did they do now?"

"They're practically eating each other in the car... I almost lost it, Pete." I complained to my lover.

"Porsche might be having the best time of his life while teasing you." Pete's reply came with a laughing emoji.

"That idiot is just driving me mad... If I end up killing him, would you forgive me?"

"Vegas, stop talking nonsense... Whenever you feel mad just call me... or imagine my face... That'll calm you..."

"I know... The thoughts about you are what keeps me going... always!!"  He might be blushing while reading this... I can already see it.

"Vegas, come back quickly...."

"I'll come to you... I love you, baby."

"I love you too..."

"I call you once I reach there... Take care."

"You too...."

"Ok then...."

"Ok."

After that, I messaged Nop to remind him to keep an eye on my family. I'm not taking him with me to Korea because I trust him the most to protect my dear ones. Even though Pete is worried like hell about me, my priority is his safety and happiness.

Pete's Pov

I waited for Vegas' call which would inform me that he had reached South Korea safely. He messaged me before boarding the plane and promised to call me once he reached there.
