Carolina put her phone back in her bag to avoid getting it wet even more than it was. The rain poured down on her. She couldn't tell if she was still crying or if it was the rain drops brushing down her pink cheeks.

The tan girl was left alone in her thoughts while waiting for Lamine. Her mind raced. She kept asking herself why would he do this to her? When all she's been to him is good and faithful.

She regrets taking him back that one night when everyone told her not to. Carolina wiped her face with the back of her hand, it wouldn't do anything anything anyways, but she wanted to rid her face of any tears.

She did not want to give him anymore thought.

After what seemed like forever, even though it was really 5 minutes, Lamine pulled up in his car in front of the cafe. Carolina sighed with relief when she saw the taller boy get out of the car and walk towards her.

"Ami it's raining, you didn't have to get out of the car," Carolina spoke softly, "and I'm soaked." The boy shook his head, "I don't care."

He wrapped his arms around her waist, hugging her tightly. Carolina reciprocated the hug by wrapping her arms around his neck and laying her head on his chest.

His hand came up to her hair in an attempt to soothe her, "are you okay?" Carolina nodded in return, "thank you for coming," the boy shook his head, "don't thank me, I'm always here for you."

Just as they pulled away, Nick pushed through the cafe door, exiting the small shop. He rolled his eyes seeing the two.

"How nice, called in your bestie to come save you, huh?" He said in a snarky tone.

"Yeah, she did. Are we gonna have a problem?," he said while taking a step forward with his arm wrapped around Carolina's shoulders.

"You done being dramatic?" He condescendingly towards Carolina. She scoffed, "are you serious right now? I'm the dramatic one?"

"Just come on, I'll take you home. It's pouring out here. Don't act like you're actually breaking up with me." Nick said with a smug look on his face.

Carolina rolled her eyes so hard to the point you'd think they'd get stuck back there, "I'm not going with you, Nicholas," she turned to speak to Lamine, "let's just go, please." He nodded in response.

The pair began walking away towards the car when Nick grabbed Carolina's wrist. "You're gonna regret this." He sneered. Lamine grabbed Nick's wrist, "let go." Nick scoffed and snatched his wrist back, "whatever."

After the Nick had walked away (very angrily), the two began walking towards the car again, this time getting inside. The sound of seatbelts clicking was heard. "I'm sorry for getting you into one of my messes. Again," a small smile peeked on her lips as she looked at the brown skinned boy, "no te preocupes. Boosts my ego when I'm the one you call to get you out of shit," he replied, laughing a bit when the girl made an annoyed face.
