It's been six months since I've been here, everyday I have had countless training sessions with Jav. To say she wasn't taking it easy on me either.
When I just started I complained till the very end, but I've gotten used to it and my skills have sharpened. I still got a lot more to learn tho but I guess that'd be whenever life brings it to me.
I looked over at the glowing digital clock to see it was 4 in the morning. By now my body was used to waking up this early for training, but this morning was different.
I wasn't getting up for training, rather I'll be working today, being her bodyguard like i was trained to. I wrapped my head around the thought ages ago.
It was either I died or do what I was told and I very much value life. A sigh escaped my lips as I sat up on the bed before sliding down.
I clapped twice and the lights came on. On my time here, I learn hella shit.
So this mf is basically the mansion where people who work for her in the mafia stays.
I've also learned that she is indeed the infamous Multi Billionaire Bomani Ojore, don't even get me started on the pay, i mean.....I loved the coffee shop....but this amount of money for jus guarding someone.....and maybe putting your life at risk was not something i could turn down.
I searched for the TV remote and then played RISK by Victony before beginning my morning routine as my waist moved magically to the rhythm. What?? This hits hard.
About an hour and half later I was all ready. I was dressed down in a white button up shirt with a black dress pants along with a blazer as it was my uniform, everyone wore it.
I took my cologne before spritzing it on my wrist and behind my ears. A knock was then heard on the door which caused me to walk over to it and opened it.
"Gu' morning, I see u mean business." Jav said as her eyes raked down my body with a smirk on her face. "I ain't wanna get cold water dumped on me to run 10 miles, so I learnt from the best. Morning tho" I replied as she chuckled.
Jav didn't take it easy on me, we joked around but I knew my limits and I didn't wanna pass them because she can be pretty scary. "Mmm, tha's coo'...here, these the keys to the car." She said handing me a car key.
I looked at her confused. "Car key? Fo what ??" I asked her, " you gon' be boss's drive, yk...to make sure she safe n shii. Pick her up at her crib and she'll let you know what to do from thea" she replied.
"Oh aii, thanks."
"We coo, anyways make sure to grab sum from the kitchen before you leave, you gon' have a long day." She said before walking off.
"Fo sure, I preciate it" I semi yelled to make sure she heard. Jus then CeCe and another person was passing by. She walked over and dapped me up.
"Gu' luck today mamacita. " We grew close with time and was almost inseparably when I wasn't training. "Heyo thanks mayne, imma need it" I chuckled at her choice of words, I gave up trying to get her to call me sumu other than mama, ma, or mamacita.
"Oh by the way dis hea is ma girl Rhay. Rhay, this ma home girl Skai." My eyes traveled over to the new face as a smile stretched unto my lips.
"Nice to meet ya Skai, dope name tho." Her hand stretched over for a shake. I took it willingly. "Pleasure to meet uu, I preciate it." I searched my memory but I never remember seeing her here. "Don't min' me askin...but u new here? I don't remember seeing uu?" She chuckled before shaking her head in disagreement.
