« Uhm well what should we do?? » el asks looking max straight in the eyes making both of them blush. « Uhm.. do you wanna go to the mall? » el's eyes widened « didn't it burn down...? » *max looks down remembering everything from last year* « i- it's a new mall... » el notices Max's discomfort « I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to-» max cuts her off « it's fine el don't worry about it, let's just go check the mall out » el nods.
Max takes her bike and they both head on it. El holds Max's waist which makes max feel butterflies in her stomach. El noticed max blush but she doesn't say anything about it. They arrive at the mall, it's not as different as the last one which makes max a little upset.
They enter and max immediately notices the gap and takes el's hand making her blush. They get into the shop and try out some clothes, el tried out a few shirts « how do I look? » el says while wearing an oversized t-shirt. Max blushes « y-you're... pretty » el smiles and blushes « thank you » after buying a few clothes they decide to go at scoops ahoy. When they get there they order two vanilla ice creams, it was disappointing as Steve and robin didn't work there anymore. « It's getting late we should probably head home » max says, el agreed and they go back home with Max's bike.
