Chapter 3: Master Haido.

Anna's pov: * At dawn before heading out, we decided to check on those two. Naruto and I headed to Temujin and Tsuki's part of the cart only for us to see empty beds*      HUNH?!!

Naruto: GAAAHHHH!!! They ran away, those jerks!! They think they can get away?! They're out of their bleeding min---- hunh?

Anna's pov: Hunh? *I "hunhed" as I heard Naruto pause then looked to see gramps standing in front of him with sad and gloomy expression. I jumped down from the cart and walked to stand by Naruto's right*     Gramps?

Kahiko: How on earth could this have happened?

Naruto: What's up? Is there a problem here, gramps?

Kahiko: I can't find Nerugui, he vanished.

Naruto: Does that mean he's run off with what's his face and miss attitude?

Anna: I think you mean Temujin and Tsuki. *I said as gramps hung his head down sadly.*

Kahiko: Yes. What was the point of spending all that money on the unparrealled shinobi of the leaf village?

Anna: Hunh?!

Naruto: *I rose my hand above my head*   Hold on a sec. We delivered him just as you requested.

Kahiko: Quiet!!! I told you to deliver him to the next village! Besides, I just finished telling you Nerugui's gone!

Naruto: Look, be reasonable.

Anna's pov: *I groaned as he continued while whining with his head hung low. *

Kahiko: If I knew this was going to happen, I would have hired those legendary sand ninja from the get go.

Naruto: *I grumbled as I shouted*   Ok! I get it already!!

Anna: And besides, we couldn't deliver him to the next village because it was already destroyed. *They both looked at me in shock.*

Kahiko: What?!!

Anna: It's true. Shikamaru and I saw the ruins of the place. All that was left seen there were trails of black smoke. *He hung his lead low again as I faced Naruto*    Naruto, we have to go find them.

Naruto: But how? We can't track them.

Anna: It's still pretty early so we might get on them. Their trail's not grown cold. They might not have chakra signatures but I've already studied their energy.... so I can track them with it. *He nodded as I closed my eyes focusing on their energy. Although Tsuki's energy's a little different from Temujin's..... just like ours in some sort of way.... any thing other than that, their life force's basically the same. I thought as I opened my eyes*       Got 'em. Let's go, big brother.

Naruto: Right. Don't worry, gramps. We'll bring the cat back to you.

Anna: It's a ferret and its name's Nerugui. *I said with my arms crossed across my chest, looking at him by my left with an arched eyebrow as he chuckled nervously while scratching the back of his head. Then I sighed as we both ran off to find our runaways. We ran a really long distance to place.... surrounded by fog, then finally we found them. We jumped to their rights as I spoke*   There you guys are!

Naruto: So we finally caught up to you two. *I looked down to Temujin's right leg*    Alright, just give me back the cat.

Anna: Ferret! *I said as I nudged his right ribside with my left elbow making him to as the ferret hid behind Temujin's leg while snarling as I squatted down to its level*        Easy there, Nerugui. We mean you no harm. *It calmed down for a bit then turned to Naruto again and started snarling again*       Naruto, you're scaring him.
