POV Yeojin
I was barely conscious, lying on a hospital bed.
"Miss, please stay awake", a nurse said devastated.
"Yeojin, stay by my side. You're doing great so far", Rian said while holding my hand.
"Let's hurry to get her baby out first, so we can operate her.", the head doctor said.
I struggled to keep my eyes open. Then i suddenly heard an annoying noise and got a heavy headache. Everything got black and the pain stopped. What happened? Am i dead now?
I woke up panting. I held my chest struggling to breath. Rian who seemed to be in my room hurried next to me to rub my back.
"It's okay. I'm here. Nothing can happen to you.", he reassured me.
"I had a dream. I died birthing our baby.", i told him. I couldn't help but crying.
"Don't worry. It's just a dream. That will not happen.", Rian looked right into my eyes.
"How do you know?? It's possible. I'm not ready to leave you yet!", i cried louder.
He hugged me tighter.
"You won't die. I'll do everything to keep you alive. Don't worry about that."
"Can you get me-", i said being about to puke.
He understood fast and gave me a trashcan. I grabbed it and vomited in it. He took my hair and held it out of my face.
"You better take some medicine. Mrs. Yoon", i screamed.
She entered the room and then rushed out again at the sight of Yeojin vomiting. She quickly came back along with the family doctor tho.
By now Yeojin was done puking.
I made some room for the doctor but never let go of her hand. He checked her and rsn some tests.
"That's just morning sickness. Don't worry. Take your medicine and then just rest, drink some tea or even sleep if you're able to."
