You spotted Kino sitting at a picnic bench outside, you had become well acquainted with her after bumping into her a few times at the library. Ignoring the students who wanted your attention, you walked closer and placed a hand on her shoulder, "Kino! I need advice on something."

She turned, slightly startled before she put a smile on her face, "Ah, Shindou!"

"Kino," You started in a scolding tone, "I already told you to call me Y/n, it's what I'm used to."

"Of course, sorry, force of habit," She tilted her head to the side in an apologetic manner. "What brings you here?"

You held your hand out in front of your face, examining your nails, "The pink doesn't really match the uniform, does it? I'm not sure what to change it to."

"As much as it's a nice colour, you have a point." She hummed, placing a finger on her chin in thought.

The two on the other side of the table were both intrigued and confused by the sight before them (Endou more than Kazemaru). You leaned in closer to Kino before she grabbed your hand, her eyes flickering between your nails and the slightly modified uniform you wore.

It surprised them slightly; you two seemed awfully close already, and they didn't expect someone like you to be friends with someone like her.

In the few days you had been here, you had already managed to create an unofficial fan club for yourself (whether it was unintentional or not). With the way you presented yourself, it was clear you didn't care for many students around you, often scoffing and ignoring most of the student body, but this only seemed to add to your charm as many of the boys were basically head over heels for you.

Kino was practically the complete opposite, she carried a friendly and approachable aura around her. She was keen on helping everyone when she was able to. She spoke softly to anyone and everyone, not caring about their background whatsoever.

Kino was a girl who didn't add much to her natural appearance, only adorning a pink hair clip to keep her hair out her face. Whereas you added various pieces of jewellery that seemed to change every now and again (only a certain bracelet having a recurring appearance), along with a white ribbon in your usual hairstyle that never changed.

"How about just plain French tips? You could always add some gems, I think that would suit you perfectly!" Kino suggested, a bright smile on her face.

"That's it! You're perfect, Kino!" You suddenly gasped, "Why don't you come with me? I've been meaning to ask you to hang out with me too."
