Kino stirred her pink lemonade, the ice cubes colliding carelessly with each other. "How are you finding the club?"
'I fucking hate it. I want to kill myself. Good grief. How is it so dirty? Oh my god, take me back to America.'
You took a sip of your drink, "It's—" HORRIBLE "—Fine."
Kino seemed to notice your second of hesitation, "Endou and the others can certainly be a bit much for newcomers."
"Are they really like this all the time?"
Kino smiled and nodded, "You'll get used to them, just give them some time. Even I had to wait a bit."
You begged to differ. You were beyond tired of them already. "Kino, you're more patient than I will ever be."
"Well, you're not completely new to it all. You know Endou." A teasing smile made its way to her face, "And you seem to know Kazemaru very, very well."
You giggled, "Not really, he just seemed like an interesting person in my class, and I was right."
"Or maybe you're interested in him."
"I can't be interested in him when I'm already heavily devoted to you, my wife," You joked.
Kino raised an eyebrow, amused by your antics. "You proposed to me in the car park while I was in a shopping trolley."
"And it was insanely romantic, you said yes anyway."
"I guess I did."
You changed the subject, "Is captain still making you try to get Gouenji to join?"
She nodded, slouching in her chair slightly. "How about you?"
"It's really awkward, I'm not even in his class. It makes it so much worse."
"And I am in in his class! Do you know how embarrassing it is having to sit in the same room as him for hours!"
"Yes, but imagine how weird it must've been for him when I kept 'bumping into him' in different disguises? That definitely did not work!"
Over the past week Endou had the wonderful idea of getting you and Kino to pester Gouenji until he joined the club. Was it working? Of course not.
Kino sighed, shoving her head into her hands, "At least you didn't have to follow him home..."
