TOPANGA: *knocking at the door* you girls look beautiful. Wow. But I just wanted to tell you that your dates are here.
RILEY: shall we Maya? *putting out her arm for Maya to hold*
MAYA: we shall. *smiling at Riley*
LUCAS: wow. You both look amazing. *smiling in awe*
JOSH: hey topang- *he couldn't finsh his sentence because he was amazed at how beautiful Maya looked.*
JOSH: Riley, look at you all dolled up. And you Maya, you look amazing.
MAYA: thanks josh. * does a half smile and starts blushing *
LUCAS: well it's time to go! We will have the girls back by 10:00.
TOPANGA: *stares at lucas* make it 9:00 and will have a deal.
WESLEY: deal....
*they leave to go to the diner*
*they sit down at their table*
WESLEY: so, Riley and Maya, how long have you been friends.
MAYA & RILEY: 5 years and 6 and a half months. *they look at eachother and laugh*
*they are all talking, but Maya can't help but think about what Josh said.*
MAYA: I'll be right back, I'm gonna take a breath of fresh air.
LUCAS: I'll come with.
*lucas and Maya leave to go outside*
LUCAS: just leave already.
MAYA: excuse me?
LUCAS: it's so obvious that all you're thinking about is Josh. So go tell him how you feel.
MAYA: been there done that. He won't stop telling me that I'm too young for him.
LUCAS: well after he said that to you last night, maybe he is reconsidering.
MAYA: you really think so huckleberry?
LUCAS: I know so. Now go after him and tell him how you feel. I'll hold down the fort here.
MAYA: *touches Lucas shoulder* thanks Lucas.
*maya leaves the diner.*
