Oliver's first score
Dumbo is the first Disney movie where the score was written, arranged and conducted by Oliver Wallace.
Oliver wrote the score for feature-length Disney movies up until Lady and the Tramp.
The complicated part of this is that it was actually the first time he was credited in any Disney movie as he'd conducted the score in Pinocchio and many other previous Disney short films.
But this may very well be the first time Oliver actually composed the score.
