TW: vomit, swearing

Mini description: Alexander is sick ofc and won't admit it.

Alex pov:

Alexander woke up knowing he was sick. The second he took a breath his chest felt tight and he had a pounding headache. But Alex knew his work was far too important for him to take a day off. Today he had a meeting with everyone including Thomas Jefferson god he hated that man. But if he didn't go then who would be there to argue against Jefferson's shitty claims. Snapping back to reality Alexander realized he was going to be late so he hurriedly got ready and headed to work. When he walked in Alex greeted Mr Washington and then took his place at the meeting, being the last one there. Shockingly it went very smoothly and although Alexander's headache was not yet gone nobody had seemed to notice he was sick. And after the meeting Alex made his was back to his desk. After a few hours of working mr Washington knocked on his door he didn't wait for a reply but just came in anyway. "Alexander son I know you are sick, I could see it on your face the second you walked in this morning." Alex was so surprised but quickly defended himself  "no sir I don't know what you're talking about I'm not sick!." Alexander had gotten up from his desk to better argue his point but realized it was a mistake after he felt vomit rising. "Son I think you should be resting right now" the president said Alex could only nod before sprinting out of the office making his way to the restroom. Washington followed promptly behind Of course none other then Thomas jeffershit was in there just staring at his phone. Alex ran to the toilet feeling the vomit up his throat now. He heard Mr Washington tell Jefferson to leave and then walked up to alex. Alexander tried to shoo him away placing distance between them but george came right up holding Hamiltons hair and rubbing his back. After a while Alexander finally got up and said "sorry to be such a bother sir I should get back to work" he said "No. Alexander Hamilton you are no where near fit to return to work" the president said. And with that Alex started to cry almost like a child "hey hey what's wrong Alexander.." Washington said "a-am I going to die??" He asked "no it's only a fever or a cough you'll be fine." George brought the frail boy into his arms and held him there until he had cried himself to sleep. Then George took him to the couch in his office and put his jacket over top of Hamilton. He watched as the boy slept peacefully finally getting the rest he so desperately required.
