April 16th, 2024- Sally (third person)Even though Sally has lived alone in NYC for a while she never really loved it there but it's what her brother dreamed of so it was now her dream. But she had no friends really before Caitlin texted her out of thin air. The last time she talked to Caitlin was in December when she texted the 8 people in her contacts Merry Christmas.
Sally now was just lying on her couch under her favorite LSU blanket that she got from college. The sound of the city kept her awake. Her eyes looked over to the clock on her oven it was 7:45 pm she would be lying if she said she ate at all and her stomach was bugging her because of it.
As if right on time her phone rang, Sally looked at the contact confused as to why Caitlin was calling her but she picked up anyway.
"Hey, Cait." Sally's voice sounded very dry and bored.
"Dang, did I just wake you up?" Caitlin asked
"Na I'm just laying on my couch bored like always, how is Indiana?" Sally asked.
"Aww man it's great over here they are treating me good I feel like a celebrity," Caitlin spoke with a laugh.
"Caitlin you act like you aren't a celebrity," Sally laughed.
"Well, anyway I called to ask if you've eaten dinner yet?"
"Umm no?" Sally asked in a questioning tone.
"So you haven't?"
"No I haven't eaten yet Cait, why do you even need to know?"
Caitlin never asked her things like that, Caitlin doesn't even call her often. She would just normally text her.
"I'm just keeping tabs on my bestie you know seeing if you've gotten your 3 meals a day in." Caitlin sounded like she was hiding something but Sally didn't have the energy to ask.
"Caitlin the last time we talked before this week was Christmas."
"Well, I gotta go have a good night Sal," Caitlin spoke quickly as she hung up before Sally could say bye.
"Bye Cait?"
Sally put her phone back on the coffee table as she went back to sulking on her couch but the peace didn't last long as there was a knock on her door.
Sally got up from the couch and walked to the door as she opened it none was at the door until she looked to the floor to see a delivery bag. Her mind first questioned if it was a bomb or something that would kill her but looking at it more she saw the name of her favorite restaurant on the bag.
Sally grabbed the food and brought it inside as she set it on the table. When she opened it there was Chicken Alfredo in one container and some chocolate cake in the other. When she pulled out the receipt to see if maybe the person sent it to the wrong address.
"Paige Bueckers."
That was the first name she would not have guessed to see food from and how did she even find her address?
Grabbing her phone Sally immediately called the blonde.
April 16th, 2024- Paige (third person)
"Yall do you think Sally would want the chocolate cake, not gonna lie it looks fire in this photo," Paige asked Kk and Ice as she scrolled on DoorDash. They were on KK's live as Kk and Ice were in frame as Paige was out of frame walking around the room.
"One time I got this cookie and the photo looked so good but it was not even close to the cookie they gave me," Kk spoke as she looked up from her phone.
