8 - Cookie Jar

I stretched my arms and sat up looking at the time.

I looked out the window forgetting what I would do today. I walk towards the door and noticed a letter on the floor.

I pick it up and opened it. I was very confused and read the note carefully.

Good Morning! I can't wait for us to hang out today. Wear something light and comfortable later for today's activities!

I let out a chuckle and went out of the room to eat breakfast.

I went to the kitchen and found Riki cooking while there was music playing in the background. I laughed when he was doing a little dance to the song's rhythm. He turns around and smiles.

"You're awake!" He said and I sat down

"I forgot that we were doing something today." I said and he nods

"It's okay. You were very tired yesterday. I have planned a lot!" He said and serves me a bowl of oatmeal

"Mhmm! What's on the agenda?" I asked him while filling my mouth with spoonfuls of oatmeal

"You'll find out once you're done." He says and takes a napkin

He then leans closer and wipes a crumb on the side of my lip. I look at him awkwardly and he smiles.

"Your heart rate's going up." He mumbles as he goes to the sink

"W-what?" I was confused but he never responded after that

He takes out a clipboard and puts on my glasses like he's been using them for so long.

"Gotta look the part!" He jokes and I chuckled

He then shows me the list on his board where the breakfast part was now checked off.

"Baking?" I look at him

"Onto our next agenda!" He said and I take my bowl to the sink

"Are you sure about this? I'm not really a baker." I said and he laughs

"Well, I'm here to change that." He said and offers his hand

"Haha! No." I said

"C'monnn! If you're my pretend girlfriend then you should act like one!" He said and I sighed

He then takes me to the fridge and gives me a list. I read it and realized it was a recipe for chocolate chip cookies.

"Really?" I look at him

"Turn around." He said as he gives me an apron

I turn around and tie my hair while he ties the apron around me.

"Please tell me you've baked something before." I turn around to face him

"No but I searched how to on goggles." He said and I laughed
