As we drive out of the territory, we hear the car phone. "Ignore it?" Maddie suggests. I nod. She increases the gas as we drive to the human mall past a speed limit sign raising it. The call goes to voice mail and a automatic voice is heard. "Attention all pack members, the Alpha's And Beta's mates have left Blood Night territory." 

Maddie pumps the gas.

LUCAS' POV

"Alpha, calm down!" a council member weakly tries. "Calm down? My mate is missing!" I roar, barely able to keep my wolf down. "Son, calm down. A stoplight camera caught her. Looks like she's headed for the human mall." Father tells me.

"Send five SUVs out. Catch her at the mall entrance!" I order. I hear many "Yes Alphas," and walk to my office.

Storma just contacted me. They're fine.

Okay, Derek keep tabs on them.

Will do! No one touches mate!

I growled at the thought of Isabella being touched. No one is going to be touching my mate! Oh, Isabella can bet she is going straight home to a punishment.

ISABELLA'S POV

"How does this one look on me?" Maddie asked. "It's a bit too short. William will be pissed if he sees you in that and Xander might try to take over." I say. "Girl, it's our secret stash of hoe clothes. They won't be seeing them." Maddie remarks. "Have you and Will, you know, done it?" I ask her, the random thought coming to mind. "I ain't letting Will touch me like that ever Bells! Why do you ask?" she says, hands on hips. I look down in instinct and she gasps. 
"Oh no, you didn't!" she scoffs in disbelief. "Luke practically seduced me! He also marked me." I said showing it, partly out of shame but a little bit out of pride.
Maddie sighs and brings the two full carts to the front and we both pay for our own stuff. We then go to Sephora and get some makeup and concealer, girl's gotta be a lil' pretty.
When we head to the food court entrance, we see Lucas and Will.

Oh shit.

"Where do you two think you are going?" Lucas asks. "Going to eat," I snap at him. "Not without me." he says. He's slightly shaking so I sigh and place my hand on his shoulder. 
He stops indicating his wolf was calmer. Will looks at Maddie who slaps him and storms off. I stifle a laugh and he glares at me before walking off to find her. Luke grabs my hand and leads me to Burger King.
"I hate you." I mutter. "Yeah, well you're stuck with me." he says. Only because you chose me, asshole.
I think back to when I was 15 to distract myself. I had a boyfriend named Dagger. That was his nickname. His real name was Noel. One summer we went to....

*older Isabella's voice blends into younger voice*

Aunt Beckys. We were staying two weeks. It was gonna be so much fun since Dagger was coming. "Izzy, look out the window!" Aunt Becky said.
I gasped in wonder at the sight. There were so many more horses than last year! Must be a good year. "Becky, did Atticus miss me?" I asked. "Sure does hon!" My aunt assured me. "Dagger, I'm glad you came." I told him, pecking him on the lips.
"I'm happy you're here." he said. I smiled. Later when we were in my bedroom, he kissed me. "I'm gonna go get some water." he said and left. His phone dinged right after
Grabbing his phone, I saw the contact name of the text notification  was "Hot Babe". I must be... very special to him. I knew his pass code so I unlocked his phone and saw he was texting another girl. A tear slid down my cheek as I read the text then another.

He was freaking cheating on me. The latest text to her was:

I'm going on some stupid trip with Bella to Galveston. I'm dumping her there then we can be together. I love you Kathy<3 :)

I ran out of the house crying hard. Coming to a meadow, I fell to my knees. He didn't love me. I heard him up ahead and started running again. And didn't stop.
