"I thought Lucas had all the male wolves rounded up." I asked. "We escaped 4 days ago in the middle of the night. No guards were there so we went." Nick said.

"Anyway, so when are y'all going into action?" Ryan asked. I froze at that. Ok, I don't ever think I thought about that. "Umm...." I trailed off, biting my lip.

"We had a backup plan." Zane said. "In case ya'll didn't have one." Wow is he thoughtful. "Thoughtful as always my love." Ryan said.

"So we were thinking--" Suddenly, a girl screaming interrupted him. "ROGUE ATTACK!"

What? "Males or females?" I asked Maya. "Males!" she said worried. I looked outside to see them running to us. There was about 40 or so. "Get as many wolves as you can." I ordered.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw about 5 strange wolves come from the side start attacking the rogues. We also had about 25 wolves out there. I have to fight.

NO FIGHTING!

Blocking her out, I went out and shifted. "BELLA!" I heard Maddie cry.

MADDIE'S POV

Her eyes de-fogged. Without warning, she ran out and shifted. "BELLA!" I cried.

She can't fight. She'll risk losing her kid. "What's wrong Maddie?" Nick asked me, concern etched into his face. "Shes pregnant. Fighting could kill the kid!" I cried. Without warning, he also ran out and shifted.

"Are the children sealed up?" I asked Ellie. She nodded. "You're not thinking about fighting are you?" she asked. "No. I'm not risking this kid." I said sternly.

Hearing a familiar yelp, I ran to the window. Bella was being cornered by three rogues but then I saw two unknown wolves sneaking up on the rogues.

I'm so sorry if I lose you kid. I ran out and shifted. Running by the fight, I came up on Bella being cornered.

Whimpering knowing the risk I was making, I jumped in front of Bella and growled at the rogues. One of them did a wolf laugh and another one smirked. I crouched, getting ready to pounce.

MOVE!

Huh?

Suddenly I saw a brown wolf with white markings jump in front of me. Then a few more came. One rogue lunged for the grey one in the middle.

The grey one jumped and caught the rogues neck, breaking it easily. Nice. After about 5 minutes, all the rogues were dead.

Maya, Ellie grab some clothes and get a few of the men's shorts.

We did have a few men shorts from Miss Anne's husband living here.

I loved being a real Beta, not just the mate to one. Soon clothes were brought to us. The brown wolf with white markings was revealed to be Nick. The grey one was Ryan.

"Move it!" we heard a voice once inside. Oh it was Sarah, our doctor. Damn it, I'm fine! Why was she called. "You two are foolish risking your pups!" she scolded. Oh.

After Bella and I were examined, we were lucky to find out nothing had been done to the pups or us. Thank Luna. "What were you two thinking?!" we heard 2 voices coming toward us. More concerned people?

"What were you 2 thinking?!" I heard two voices. We're in for it. "Okay first of all, we don't know your name dude." I said to the guy. "Jacob." he said.
