"We are coming for you. You killed them. This is your only warning. Be ready and be prepared." I warned Isabella, Luna of the most powerful pack in the world, Blood Night.
With that, I ran out quietly and drove to the spot 2 miles away. About 6 minutes later, another car drove up beside mine. The person inside got out then got in mine.
"Take off the mask." I ordered. The person obeyed, and it revealed Keira. "So, how well did you scare her?" I asked. "Pretty damn well. The weak bitch called for Lucas so I couldn't stay." Keira told me.
"Has Devin betrayed you?" I asked. "If he had, I would be on the run. Thanks to him, they think I am still locked up in that dreadful place." she said. She shivered just thinking about it.
"Yeah.... anyway, I hope they took the warning seriously." I told her, driving off. "Of course they did. It's Lucas Quinn, the top Alpha to Blood Night." she scoffed.
"Well, we better get some rest. Sonden is awhile away." I suggested. "There's a motel right up here. All humans." Keira told me. "Thank god, I don't want any trouble." I sighed in relief.
After checking in, we came up to our hotel room and laid on the twin beds. "You excited?" I heard Keira ask. "For what?" I asked back. "To see your mate." I was.
"Yes." I answered her. "I miss mine too." Wait she has a mate? "When did you find yours?" I questioned. "About 1 week after I joined the pack." she informed me.
"Was it who you think it was?" I questioned again. "No." I heard sadness in her voice. "I'm sorry." I whispered, knowing she could hear my words.
"He wouldn't have been good for me anyway." she muttered. Checking my old watch, I saw it was 10:32. "Get some sleep." I ordered her. "I was tired anyway."
About 3 minutes after she was asleep, I tried to get some too. Finally, I was met with the first scene of my dream. And it was the same one I had had 3 months ago.
After I lost her.
"Stop it!" she giggled. "Say it then!" I laughed along with her as I continued the torture of tickling. Managing to speak through the laughter she got words out.
"I am sorry for stealing your game from you!" she managed. Lifting my hands off of her, she sighed in relief. "Why is it that you know my weakness?" she asked, knowing the answer.
"Because you let me know in order to not get in trouble with Mallix." I told her. "Yeah, I remember." she muttered.
"Jerison!" Adam ran up to us. "What is it?" I asked him worried. "They're coming to get her." he warned me. She looked at me with concern.
Footsteps echoed in the distance signaling they were coming. "Quick, follow me. I can help you escape!" he told us, motioning.
Adam jumped over a fence. She followed and I behind her. Ducking around a corner, I heard her scream. Spinning around, she was in the hands of Cuttlen.
And being dragged away. "NO!" I screamed, trying to follow them. They got farther and farther, her screams sounded more distant and frightened.
I sat up with a gasp, sweat gliding down my face. I could see a silver of the sun begin to appear. Dawn. Getting out of bed, I woke Keira up.
She noticed day was coming and immediately began to get ready. I got into some clothes and packed up. Keira grabbed her bag and we headed out to the car.
I got in and buckled up, while Keira got into the passenger and buckled too. Switching gears, I began to backpack then switched again and went forward.
