and i need you sometimes, we'll be alright.

emily had almost choked her audition, and it wasn't pretty. but, she pushed through and did it successfully.

she didn't feel well the rest of the day, but didn't want to go home.

"hey, loud." emily went up to her after her audition.

"how was the audition?" lynn asked, putting her backpack on.

"it was alright, almost fucked it up but mrs. thatcher was chill about it." emily said, "could i come to your house? my sister is with her boyfriend and my dad is out of town. i just don't want to be alone."

"yeah, sure. you won't be alone at my house." lynn said, "my dad picks me up so i can ask him then, he likes you so you're good to go."

the two girls left the school and got to lynn's van — which she calls vanzilla, emily found it cute while lynn's face was beet red.

"hey pops, could emily hang out at our place?" lynn asked and her dad nodded.

"of course, we're happy to have you over anytime." mr. loud told her as the two girls hopped in.

the two louds were talking in the front seat while emily looked out the window.

emily took out her phone and sent charlotte a quick text telling her whereabouts.

"we're here!" mr. loud said as they pulled into the driveway.

the two girls got out of the car and entered the house, "we can hang out in the living room, lucy is in the room and i don't want to disturb her."

the two sat down on the couch, and it was pretty awkward for a moment.

"since when are you and marcus friends?" lynn asks, acting like she's known him for longer than a day.

"i've known him since i joined, but we started talking this year. vi tried to get me to ask him to the kangaroo hop, but he isn't my type." emily laughed.

"the kangaroo hop looks so boring, and it's on the same day as this baseball game i've been waiting for for weeks." lynn excitedly says.
