The walls were decorated with pink and blue streamers, intertwined as they made their way across the walls, the doorways, and more.

Balloons floated in corners of the rooms and covered the floor, filled with various small pieces of confetti paper. Finger foods laid out on the table from sausage biscuits to dips with chips and other various snacks for the guest. Those that stepped out into the backyard were able to see a table that had 'its a girl' or 'it's a boy' pins that they could choose from while the actual gender cake was in the fridge waiting to be cut.

Looking around the party, Autumn couldn't help but smile before she turned to Willow. "Willow, this is absolutely amazing. I never would have been able to plan all this."

"Oh please, you planned Heather's wedding. And look how that turned out."

Autumn grimace. "Only because I had Gian's help." At the mention of his name, her heart squeezed painfully. "Do you think..." She trailed off.

Willow gave her a sympathetic smile before she pulled her in for a hug. "I don't know, Autumn. I don't know."

Willow held her out. "But don't forget this is you and your baby's day ok? Let's not forget that." Her smile softened. "Are you ready to join motherhood?"

Autumn's lips twitched at that. "Honestly, no, no I am not." Willow laughed before she led Autumn over to the buckets. Grabbing the girl button, she clipped it onto her shirt while Willow grabbed the boy's one.

"I'm hoping to finally get my granddaughter." Autumn jumped and turned to see her mother pop on the girl pin. "So I can finally have someone to spoil with dresses and bows."

"Knowing Autumn, she'll be into football and carpentering. You remember the time you tackled Mathew Rivet to the ground because he called you ugly?"

"Oh, goodness what was that? Sixth grade? He was such a spoiled jerk." She pointed a finger at her mother. "And you will not turn my baby into another Mathew Rivet."

"Autumn, honey, a grandmother's duty is to absolutely spoil their grandchildren."

Autumn rolled her eyes at that. "Yeah, right. I already have Heather threatening to spoil them. I don't need two people with that job."

"Sorry mom, I called dibs first."

Autumn spun at the voice. "Heather!" She pulled her sister into a tight hug. "What are you doing here?" Autumn gave her a once over.

Her sister looked absolutely radiant with a beautiful skin tan and eyes that glow with excitement and joy. "I thought you weren't due back for another week."

"Oh, you know I am not missing my nieces or nephews baby shower." She cupped Autumn's belly. "You hear me? I was not going to miss your big event."

There was a small kick in response. Autumn grimaced before she smacked her hand away. "Please don't get them started. They already left bruises on my ribs last night."

"Once again, I don't miss that," Willow replied.

"Well, maybe she's just ready to finally meet me." Heather reached for a girl pin.

With three girl pins and one boy pin, Willow glared mockingly at them all. "Oh yeah, leave me out number."

"I'll join you, love." Brian grabbed a boy pin before he pressed a kiss against her cheek. Two tiny hands reached for boy pins as well which Willow was more than happy to clip onto their shirts. "Looks like the boy pins are winning now."

"Hey that doesn't count, you're all one family!"

"All is fair in love and war." At Willow's smug smirk, Autumn rolled her eyes. She had a feeling her sisters would turn this into a competition by the time the shower ended.
