It was just another day at the Pledis Entertainment building. Dino was in Woozi's studio working on some music production while the owner of the room was out for a quick lunch break. The maknae had been practicing his skills for a while now and was getting better at it with each passing day. He felt confident enough to try his hand at one of Woozi's songs, one that the oldest especially made for him. The producer was a perfectionist when it came to music, the dancer knew it, but he was determined to impress him. He was so focused that he didn't even notice when his hyung walked in.
"Hey, Dino" Woozi said, walking over to him with a piece of sandwich, handing it to his dongsaeng. "How's it going?"
The named jumped, startled, and grabbed the food that was given to him. "Oh, hey Woozi-hyung. It's going pretty well, I think."
"That's good to hear. Can I take a look?"
Dino nodded and stepped aside, letting Woozi take a closer look at the screen and leaving him the earphones. The shortest leaned in, studying the various tracks and settings.
"This is really good" He said, nodding in approval. "You've got a real talent for this."
Dino beamed with pride. Coming from this hyung, that was high praise indeed. He continued to work, feeling more confident than ever. Woozi let him be and sat at the couch, focused on writing lyrics.
But then, disaster struck. The youngest was in the middle of adjusting the settings of the track when he accidentally hit the wrong thing. A warning message popped up on the screen, but before Dino could even read it, he pressed the "OK" button. Suddenly, the song was gone. Deleted. And it seemed like there was no way to get it back.
Dino's heart sank as he realized the gravity of his mistake. It was an accident, a momentary lapse in judgment that resulted in him deleting one of Woozi's precious songs, but he knew how serious the matter was. The weight of guilt settled heavily on his shoulders, and he felt a surge of anxiety wash over him. How could he have been so careless? Was the producer even going to forgive him? Oh, the maknae knew he was in a lot of trouble this time.
He knew all too well the high standards that Woozi held for his music. As someone who poured his heart and soul into every creation, the producer's reaction to the loss of his song was a mystery that left Dino on edge.
His mind raced with a flurry of worries, each one painting a vivid picture of the worst-case scenario. What if Woozi lost all trust in him? What if this mistake tarnished their friendship?
The boy took a deep breath, attempting to steady his racing thoughts. He knew he had to face the consequences of his actions and take responsibility for the harm he had unintentionally caused. He turned to Woozi, his face pale.
"Woozi-hyung, I...I think I just deleted the song" He said, his voice barely audible.
Woozi's eyes widened in shock as he processed the information. The news seemed to hit him like a sudden gust of wind, momentarily knocking the words out of his mouth. He couldn't believe that Dino had done something like that, so he waited until the kid told him that it was a mischievous joke. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Woozi realized that it wasn't happening and found his voice. "What?! Are you serious?!"
The youngest nodded, his eyes filling with tears. "I'm so sorry, hyung. I didn't mean to. It was an accident. I-I just pressed some things and that message popped up and-..."
