Summary: In which Dino is out with Jun and thinks that he can act however he wants while being with him, even if he puts himself in danger.
Or
Dino makes his maknae-like hyung angrier than ever, forcing him to act like a hyung.
⚠️ About punishment version: I only enjoy disciplinary punishments (such as spanking, time outs...) in fiction, not in reality, and I don't agree with the use of these methods if they are not consensual (between adults). If you agree with them, don't comment about it, I don't want to read that, and go seek help.
Please don't take anything seriously. It's just in a fictional space, I hope everyone agrees we wouldn't wish this to be real. I'm not trying to glorify anything, just write about what characters think as correct (it doesn't equal to reality.)

Dino, being the youngest in Seventeen, always looked up at every member as if they were his older brothers which he could depend on. But, being honest, this was more noticeable with some than others, and Jun was a good example of it. Don't get it wrong; he respected Jun a lot, but most of the time he just seemed like a friend of his age, or even younger than him from time to time.
That's why, when Jun suggested they go out to another city and have some fun just the two of them, Dino couldn't help feeling a little invincible. After all, it was his Jun-hyung, someone who knew how to have a good time and always looked out for him without being too much. He was convinced that, with Jun by his side, he could do whatever he wanted without feeling scared of consequences. The oldest was someone who hardly got any stress, so just being the two of them he could take a bit of advantage of it.
Dino's mischievous spirit seemed to have taken hold of him as he ventured out with Jun. His youthful energy pulsated through his veins, fueling his desire for excitement and adventure. He lost a lot of time training as a kid, so he couldn't help but seek adventures from time to time. His desires couldn't be fulfilled with the rest of the members, but if he was with his fellow performance team, he could do it freely.
Jun didn't even think in maintaining a watchful eye on him at first, knowing well that his maknae was well mannered. They raised him up to be like that, and you couldn't blame him for thinking that he was right, since Dino was always obeying them. He did not expect the behaviour that appeared as soon as they took the train.
At first, Jun didn't seem to mind. He was happy to be hanging out with Dino and enjoying their time together. But, after they left their belongings at the hotel and as the day went on, the maknae started to get a little too reckless. He would cross the street without looking both ways, climb on top of things he shouldn't be climbing on, and even talk back to Jun when he was told to be careful.
Jun tried to warn Dino about the dangers of his behaviour, but he just brushed him off. He was having too much fun to listen and reason. But then, things took a turn for the worse. Dino stumbled into a dark alleyway, thinking it would be a fun shortcut to their next destination. As he walked further in, he realized that he was lost and alone. And, of course, he thought that he should take advantage of it and do whatever he wanted. This was a rare moment, anyway. He almost hadn't any opportunity to be alone and do things that shouldn't be done.
At one point, Dino's eyes caught sight of a forbidden adventure: an old, rickety ladder leading up to a rooftop. Without a second thought, he scrambled up the ladder, disregarding the potential danger it posed. Jun's heart leaped into his throat as he finally found him. The poor hyung hurriedly followed him, his voice filled with concern and urgency.
"Dino, be careful! That ladder doesn't look stable." He noted, anxiety running in his veins.
But Dino paid no attention, his youthful enthusiasm overriding any sense of caution. His laughter played through the air as he reached the rooftop, embracing the adrenaline rush of defying the boundaries of safety. Jun's worry morphed into a mix of frustration and protectiveness as he scrambled up the ladder too, determined to ensure Dino's well-being.
