Book 5! Reader X Baki Characters ~The Bottle Of Curse~

Welcome back!,Guevaru!

When the next day finally arrived, you woke up early and got ready as soon enough you had to be at the harbour with the others.Today Guevaru would finally come back from his island,he messaged you that he had finally finished his research on the map and he was going to come to Tokyo,but little did he know you had finished the research aswell.

After confirming from Jack that the map was from Greece and specifically Crete,now you were closer than ever to your goal and find that island.But there was a problem...How were you going to find it if it was underwater..?Plus it's location was still unknown.

Despite your worries,you decided not to overthink too much and just remain patient,because even if slowly,you were making progress.Besides you weren't alone,you had the others help and support so you had nothing to worry about.

About the tentacle nightmare you had..,you hadn't forgotten about it and was actually still scared about it,but decided not to tell anyone about it,since you didn't want to worry them.That would stay between you and Anubis since he was the only witness of it,and besides,you felt that you had some personal business with that woman and you wanted to deal with her yourself.After all,she said some weird stuff personally to you that you still hadn't found the meaning behind them.

After getting dressed,you said goodbye to Alfred and headed out to your limousine which you told the driver to take you to the harbour Guevaru would soon enough arrive.

(I'm very excited to see Guevaru again!,I missed him so much!I'm curious if his research matches with ours...,maybe he had a different conclusion that us....What if ours is wrong and his is correct?Or the opposite!How are we going to figure things out!!),you thought to yourself and slowly began to freak out,your anxiety started consuming you so much that you hadn't even noticed you had already arrived at your destination.

Your driver called out to you and you finally snapped out of your thoughts as he opened the door for you,you thanked him and ran outside trying to look for the others.You finally found them all gathered together looking at the sea,waiting for Guevaru's arrival and you joined them.

You greeted eachother and shared your thoughts,it looks like you weren't the only one nervous about if your research was going to be the same results as Guevaru's,Baki,Katsumi and Retsu admitted they weren't even able to sleep because of it!

You chuckled at their reactions and for one second you looked at your right and your laugh was cut off.Yujiro was standing in the distance with his back turned to you and you immediately looked away angrily,you still hadn't forgotten what Jack told you he did.However,Yujiro was actually looking at you from the corner of his eye aswell but you didn't notice,but he silently looked away towards the sea without greeting you,as if he knew the reason you didn't want to talk to him.

After half an hour of chatting and waiting,finally Guevaru arrived on a ship and some of his crew who accompanied him.He got off the ship by jumping out as if it was nothing,and once he landed he immediately ran to you and lifted you up into a hug,spinning you around in the air just like when he first saw you at his island.

"Woah!,Guevaru! Welcome back!",you gasped and chuckled,not expecting that from him while he laughed with you before putting you down.

"Hello everyone!,did you miss me?", Guevaru greeted them cheerfully and everyone waived at him happy to see him again."It's been a while but I'm finally here!"

"How have you been Guevaru San?How did your invastigation go?, because our went very well",Baki smirked proudly while everyone around him side eyed him knowing well that they all struggled during the invastigation and that it was difficult to finish it.

"I'm glad to hear that,my invastigation went well too.I came to the conclusion thatttt...,the map is from Greece!,and believe it or not,the island on the map we have is actually underwater most likely close to Crete!I don't even know if you can call it an island anymore..,but oh well!"
