You stared at the squirming rear that Asuka could not see and then looked at her. "I think you should probably do the contract. I doubt this one's gonna give you too much trouble." You casually reached forward and grabbed its ass, squeezing lightly. It stopped and shivered. You smirked, giving it a light pat. For a spirit it was rather sensitive. Its quivering sex drooled ectoplasm onto the dirt below.
"You think so?" She stared intently at the shadowy Aura that she was seeing. No detail, just a squirming mass that you were crouched in front of.
"Sure. I just wish I could see what you see."
"I don't think you do." You commented, both hands spreading the spirits cheeks, then letting go so that they clap together.
"It's that scary, huh?" Asuka gulped.
Your mouth fell open as you looked at her. After a moment of thought you eyed the shaking rear and nodded.
"Yeah, it's scary." Fin added in your head.
'For one of you. This poor creature...'
'Do you know anything about this?' You asked.
'Both Mirra and I agree that it has a similar feel to something from our world but in a slightly different way. I don't think it'll be bad to bring it to heel. You've been able to handle it with just our Aura.' You nodded to that.
"Alright. Yeah, seems like it's a good call. What do you need?"
"I need the spirit to either agree, or be distressed or-"
"Both?" You asked, staring at it.
"Should be fine. My aunt didn't specify. I think it's probably better? Her familiars were brought in line through an agreement. The agreement is what's important so the way to get to that can be any number of things. You can force it, you can intimidate it, convince it."
"I think that... you should just do what you need to do. I don't think this is gonna offer any resistance to an agreement. Right?" You eyed the ass. It wagged up and down, as if agreeing.
"Yeah, the spirit just wants to get out of the machine."
Asuka brightened. "That makes sense! So... Part of this spirit's laws must have it tied to this object. It can't escape. So a contract that allows it would be favourable, right."
"Y... eah." You nod.
'I mean, it was trapped by me, but the point stands.'
Asuka stepped forward, closed her eyes and rested both hands on the machine. "To the spirit of this object I offer trade. For your contract to this Priestess I offer freedom from this place. Freedom to travel with me. In exchange you will abide by my Will or be returned to the state in which you are trapped now. You must agree for this contract to be formed." She waited. You watched as the ass nodded up and down ecstatically, slowly being engulfed in a ghostly blue light. You whistled, wondering where it went and what it was going to look like. As you stood up, Asuka opened her eyes and breathed out.
"It's done. Show yourself, Spirit." She smiled.
"Now that it's contracted to me I should be able to see it the way you do."
"Hopefully not." You remarked, resting your eyes on her shoulder. You pointed.
"Right there."
"Right w-" She froze, squealed loudly and collapsed, beginning to foam at the mouth nearly as a huge widow spider with long narrow legs perched on her shoulder. She wheezed and hyperventilated a bit, shaking and convulsing in place.
"H-hal - Halp! Off!"
You held your hand out to it. "You're scared of this?" You wondered out loud, letting the arachnid crawl hesitantly up your arm and onto your head.
"Ow..." You grumbled, feeling its pointed legs jabbing you. In spiritual terms the thing nestled down between your long, tall ears.
"Better not be on purpose." You looked up.
