SHAKIR LAID DOWN ON HIS BED scrolling on Instagram. Nothing eventful was happening.

He was brought out of his scrolling when a text message popped up on top of his screen. It was a text from Tracy.

"You okay?"

Shakir looked at the message and thought back to what had happened in the octagon with her. His face turned a little red and was hesitant to respond.

"im straight."

"You wanna come with me to get my new mouthguard in an hour?😁"

Shakir sighed a little and looked around. He didn't feel like getting up. His body was sore from the last training session and mentally he wasn't there.

He was thinking about Billie and how they hadn't talked since that day. Since that morning neither of them talked to each other.

Thoughts of his mom also ran through his mind.

He started to text her back. "sure. text me the details" Shakir groaned as he got up from his bed. He went to his bathroom and sighed looking at himself in the mirror.

He began to get ready, but as he was brushing his teeth his phone got a notification. Shakir looked down at his phone and a small smile crept on his face.

"WTW ON A PARTY TN?"

Shakir laughed with the toothbrush in his mouth. He sighed and looked up into the sky. He was never a party-type dude, but Tank was.

Shakir was already burnt out from the MetGala. "wtw" He texted back.

"Shi at 9, but yk we pulling up late😂"

"bet"

Shakir finished brushing his teeth walked back into his room and went into his closet filled top to bottom with shoes and clothes. "What do I wear?"

Billie sat down in the studio looking at the microphone, her phone on her lap with a blank notes app open.

Usually after a big project, Billie stays away from the studio, so she doesn't get burnt out, but she also uses this as an outlet for her feelings.

She looked at her phone and started to brainstorm lyrics. She wanted to put her feelings into a song. That's all she knew what to do.

She began to type in her phone meaning every word that went in that app. Each word she typed was directed at one thing. Her feelings... Her feelings for Shakir.

She flashed through his head as she typed. Each day passed by she wanted to tell Shakir the truth. The truth is that she genuinely loved him.

The talk at the kitchen table passed through her mind.

"You probably didn't mean it."

Flashed through her head. She couldn't deny what she wanted anymore. She wants Shakir.

She thought about calling him, but she was scared. She didn't even know what to say. They haven't talked since that day. Her mind was racing.

She swiped out of the notes app and went to his contact. Her heart began to pump a little faster. She stared at the contact and sighed.
