Eternity In Lost Dreams

His Isolation

A few days have passed since Summer took her own life. Her funeral was being held within the snowy mountains. Many who knew Summer showed up to it, along with Autumn, Winter, and Spring. Once the funeral was held, everyone left except for them. After all, they were all Summer's closest friends.

Spring stood in-between Autumn and Winter. He remained silent before looking over at both of them.

Autumn: "..."

Autumn: "...Why?"

Winter: "..."

Both of them were filled with grief, but Spring was feeling everything at once. He slowly began to back away from Summer's grave. Autumn and Winter looked back at Spring, as they felt horrible for him. He couldn't stand any of this any longer. This is too much for him.

He ran away... Autumn and Winter stared at each other, awfully confused. In their minds, maybe Spring simply needed some time to himself. Yet, they didn't know that Spring was planning to lock himself away, isolating himself from the outside-world.

He ran as a blizzard was coming through. He didn't stop for anything or anybody. Spring ran until he reached his home. Nobody lived near him, because Spring lived out in the open. Once he entered through the front-door, he closed it and locked it. His breathing was rapid as he ran into his room and closed the door, before locking it as well. He slid against the door and sat on the floor. Tears streamed down his face. He recalled his last words to Summer before everything...

"It's our promise, right?"

A promise to never leave each other, and yet that promise was broken. Summer is gone, and all Spring could do is blame himself. All he did was stand there, and watch... He stood up and walked over to the mirror. His eyes widened as he noticed 'something' floating behind him.

Spring looked over at his bed, and decided to sleep. There's nothing else that he wants to do. Sleeping would help him 'get away' from everything... Right?
