How? Just pack her bags and leave? It seems too easy. And how will she even get to the human cities? Doesn't she have powers or whatever elves call them? She would need to ask someone. Maybe she could use that phone object thing. Doesn't it contact people? It's called an- uhh- imposter? No... Importer? Nooo. Imparter! That's it. She looks around the room for it. Easier said then done. Her room is the size of a house! A one floor house. She's checking under her bed when there's a knock on the door. Not again. It better not be Ede- Edaline. Sophie sits on the bed, trying to look natural. The door opens. It's not Edaline. It's Grady. "Hey, Kiddo. I just wanted to tell you that Sandor- your goblin bodyguard is coming tomorrow." She has to get out of there before then. Grady turns to leave- Edaline probably told him what happened- but Sophie stops him. "Great. Uh Grady? Do I have powers? How do they work?" Maybe one of them would help her escape. He turns around again. "Uhh. Well, you're a telepath. If you concentrate, you can read minds- but don't try. It's against the law. You're a Polygot. When you hear languages, your brain automatically translates them. Sometimes you don't even realize. You just think they're speaking our language. You're also an Inflictor. You can Inflict pain. I don't know how. You can also enhance anyone elses abilities when you hold their hand- but right now its turned off. You could do that. Turn it on and off. And your last ability is teleportation." Aha! That's how she'll get there! "How do I teleport?" Grady sighs. "There's two ways. One way is jumping off a cliff. The other way is running really really fast." "But how do I teleport? I just jump off a cliff and hope I don't die?" He sighs again. "In a way, yes. It's just instinct and picturing the place. But if you do try, I'd prefer you run." Sophie nods. Grady leaves. Time to pack. And then run for her life and hope her instincts do it.

She's running. Fast. And picturing France. She's always wanted to see the Eiffel Tower. As she's running, she feels a strange feeling prickling up her back. And in the next moment, she's gone.
